  1. patrickiloveyou.gif lyf savor i already went back to an earlier save and killed all the raiders and i actually feel better with this outcome. 72 levels of completely being the opposite of the raiders only to be a complete asshat for no good reason and killing just for the sake of killing? nope. my lady dont jive that way. you must be using a hostility mod nope
  2. thanks for the idea but i already tried just assigning it and then not building a flag or anything but 3 operators still showed up. i tried killing them but that makes every gang hostile. cant even use console kill because they go down like theyre essential. cant set them nonessential because of course their formid isnt recognized.
  3. its not mine because commonwealth red rocket you could keep for yourself and you didnt have to have settlers be there. it could just be you and/or whatever follower(s). if i just dont build ANYTHING there for them like no beds or anything will they go away? i dont want to do that because it will make nuka world a huge hassle to walk in and will litter the grounds with many raider corpses. not to mention i dont mind the operators or the pack. i dont want to make it a settlement at all i just want to take the workshop control for myself and keep it my own base with nobody else but me there
  4. topic. i dont want to share it with raiders. is there a console command or a mod or anything i can do? setstage for a speicifc quest didnt work either. the workshop still asks me which gang i want to give control to. like why is this a thing??? im the overboss why cant i have this for myself???

  6. when i try crafting my M1 Garand at the workbench it gives me variations of the gun like short or automatic or scoped etc. i dont want it to do this i just want it to give out the gun itself. i have no clue why its doing this. i just did the normal crafting replacement and added in the keywords and so forth. can anyone help?

  9. moved the ninodes and everything moved fine except for the clip which remained stationary. the top part as well as the other parts were positioned perfectly but for some reason the clip ninode wont budge one inch :sad: edit: sorry misunderstood. will try moving the part instead of ninode.

  14. "Modular Simonov PTRS-41" mod on nexus. highly recommended to anybody. amazing gun. i wish i could model/texture that good. its even got custom sounds as well. someone said shooting it sent chills down his spine and i can definitely echo that comment.
  15. it would be so cool if azar hairstyles or something else brought the hairstyle Linda Hamilton rocks as Sarah Connor in terminator 2. i would do it myself but im not good enough to model hair. would really cap off my female.
  16. Worked out how to edit Curie without her affinity resetting. I put myself through misery and frustration so that you dont have to. After failing with Creation Kit, FO4Edit, Face Ripper, and the NPC replacing method.....I finally did it. **disclaimer** i am not responsible for anything that happens to your game. the instructions have been outlined in a way that has been confirmed to be safe...anything bad that happens is user error and not my fault. So an explanation on HOW to do it and what will happen. (this guide assumes you understand basic fallout 4 modding) 1a. Make a save before you do this, in case things go wrong. 1b.Get Curie and set her as your follower. This way if you have to recycleactor, she will come back to you. 2. Open up the console and type in help curie 4, and then take note of the FIRST NPC form ID and do a player.placeatme command. (she has to have farmer clothes on) 3. with fake farmer curie in the game, and in good light, freeze the game with tfc 1 4. click fake curie, do showlooksmenu XXX (xxx being where the form id goes after you click on fake curie ) then make your desired changes. 5. exit fake curie showlooksmenu 6. go to real curie and do showlooksmenu on her, change the hair and then exit. If she dissolves and goes invisible do not panic. Read on for more info on this. Ok so when curie dissolved and went invisible, i did a recycleactor on her and she came back to me with the facial changes etc. but the affinity had been reset. Soooo, I then tried to do affinity grinding by killing dogmeat and then stimpacking him. But for some reason, the affinity wasnt working properly and kept going into huge negative values. So, i decided to reload back to the save before i edited Curie, and just do the process over again. This is where i discovered something new. When i finished editing the fake curie and went back to the real curie to apply the changes, this time she did not fade out into invsible...she stayed visible and her affinity stayed the same!! so as of now i suggest doing the steps above, then reloading the save you did before editing, and redoing the steps, so that you can keep the affinity as well as have a face that you like better.   18. the base face is perfect but she needs eyeliner, eye shadow, and the long line under eyes face paint, along with a longer hairstyle. ive been discovering lately though how totally uneditable curie is i tried that whole workaround by spawning in a second one etc but the second i attempt to change the real curie she just does a dissolve into nothing :sad: thankfully exiting the game without doing anything else and reloading it brings her back faceripper dosent work anymore with 1.5+ so thats a no go as well. It also gives me an unhandled exception error no matter what i do which is pretty aggravating. sad face guys. sad face edit: this is the curie i created and was going to use with faceripper before being slapped in the face with 1.5 incompatiblity. http://i.imgur.com/I3TLWt0.jpg
  19. I've used CK in the past for Skyrim but i cant seem to get it to work this time. Im trying to edit curies looks with CK since faceripper wont work with 1.5+ im just seeing this when i try to edit Curie. What am i missing? Also the preview wont work.   20. seems like you might have deeper issues with the game. have you tried verifying integrity of game cache on steam? also you need to make sure the plugins and mods are activated through NMM. it disables the plugins and mods once you update NMM so you have to manually re-check and re-activate.
  21. i updated NMM to the latest version and it gave me a popup message about 1.5 and having to reactivate mods. so it deactivated all the plugins and i manually checked them and then hit the checkmark to activate all plugins. everything works wonderfully ive been playing for the past couple hours :smile: @ izzy i noticed that when i used fallout 4 mod manager to load the game, the plugins would deactivate in NMM. so it seems like there are problems with certain mod organizers. best to use updated nmm for now.

  23. obviously i understand good mods take time. i also dont remember skyrims early modding being this terrible.
