First post. I will try to keep it from being too n00b. First, I have played Fallout since "Wasteland" (on the IIGS), being 37 years old. Fallout is about the only game I keep coming back to time after time. One thing that annoyed me since the beginning of Fallout 3 was the whole lack of holsters thing. However, I found a mod that added them, so the look is much improved (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=41410) (love this mod!). However, when the pistol isn't equipped, the holster is empty. Ugh. Other things that have bothered me have been where exactly do my non-equipped weapons really go? I have a Katana, say, and it just disappears when I switch to a shotgun or pistol? Or anything else for that matter? WTF? My thought was if someone could add a mod that would show several different weapons at once. It would work like this, (in theory). You could have one melee, one large and one small weapon showing at once, for your three most likely hot weapon locations, being 4-2-6 or left-right-down. Pistols would be on the hip, in a holster if a holster mod is present. No sense in adding another holster, or make it addable content. Rifles/Shotguns (full length) would be on the back as they are. Knives, Katana and the like (grenades? Ripper?) on the left hip. So the mod would have to recognize the type of weapon in the 4-2-6 slots and then display them in the proper locations. Or each slot (4-2-6, or even more) would assign a weapon to a specific location (2=on the back, 4=left hip, 6=right leg, 3=high right side -isn't that where grenades display? I don't remember?- and etc.) for display and use purposes. Just think, your character could really look like this-- http://images.wikia.com/fallout/images/8/89/Cowboy.png ---and display several weapons at one. True that it would be less useful if you had a three rifle character, but hey, nothing is perfect, but maybe there would be a way to keep from displaying three rifles at once in the assigned locations? Or maybe this has already been done, if so, just point me into the right direction. Thank you. Guy
