  1. Hey myrmaad, it wasn't a pm conversation. I was offering him some constructive criticism on one of his mod pages. I can link the page here or pm you or another moderator with the link to the page if you/they wish to view the conversation and form your/their own opinion.
  2. Also, very interested in such a feature. The latest files page needs this desperately, specifically a feature that allows the user to exclude a specific authors mods. My attempts to communicate with a mod author about how they could include all their files (3 pages worth of shields all uploaded as separate files -_-) in one nexus mod page, have gone quite badly with them replying that the more people tell them too put all their files together the more they are going to spam separate files. To be specific this mod author: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/modules/members/index.php?id=3558714 To a moderator: Is that situation classified as trolling and can the mod author therefore be banned for it? please... please tell me it is! I love the nexus but I miss out on so many good mods because they get pushed out of the latest files list before I can see them by the mod authors that spam small files that could easily be bundled together.
  3. If you still have trouble I would recommend downloading the 4GB mod, it is much more stable than the TESV.exe I have been using 4GB mod since day 1 that it came out and never had any issues with any of the patches.
  4. After updating to patch 1.3 my fps got even better With patch 1.2 I had 10-15 fps in Markarth using the same settings, with patch 1.3 I now get 20-35 fps in Markarth! If anyone with a dual core processor reads this, I recommend updating to patch 1.3, whatever they did to increase performance on dual core processor works wonders. Don't even need the fps limiter to get rid of stuttering now either patch 1.3 has fixed that for me, probably another effect of the increased performance for dual cores. Apart from the awesome increase in fps, I haven't ctd once and the patch 1.3 eliminated my micro stutter that happened when running around in 1st person view. Only issues I have noticed is that when I zoom in with a bow, the y-axis becomes incredibly sensitive whereas I can barely look around because the x-axis is sooooo un-sensitive (however this was there before the patch, I just thought 1.3 was supposed to fix it). Main mods that I'm using: 4GB Launcher Version 4 Anti-Freeze Enb Series Realistic Water 2048x2048 version by isoku Whiterun HD textures by Chris2012 (25 - 40 frames after patch 1.3 with the HD textures in Whiterun) Various HD ground textures. System: (not overclocked) Intel Dual Core 2.2GHz ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series 4GB DDR3 Ram

  6. I only notice mouse issues when: 1. doing anything in the menus ie. trying to navigate the map - the mouse cursor is incredibly un-sensitive. and 2. When I zoom in with a bow the y-axis becomes super sensitive and I can barely move along the x-axis, which means that zooming in with a bow is completely useless unless my 'prey' is standing completely still (which they never are -__-) Hopefully someone can fix this. However, what patch 1.3 did fix is the massive fps drop when turning. When I turned my character around in 1st person view my fps went from whatever it was at (usually 30+fps) down to 5 or less fps and then when I had stopped turning it went straight back up again, which made turning really choppy, now its smooth as butter.
  7. Here is a crazy idea, revert back to 1.1 and try changing U-Grids and then update again (or stay at 1.1) personally I love patch 1.3 increased fps by 10-15 fps on my dual core cpu. Revert back to 1.1 Guide: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2263471
  8. @ Rennn I don't know why you are having trouble with your system o.O your graphics card is way better than my POS. The only thing I can think of that might be the reason is that I spent a lot of time tweaking everything that I possibly could in order to get Skyrim to run on ultra graphics , when I first installed the game and ran it I had less than 10 fps on medium graphics... then I tried a lot of different ini tweaks and I'm using enbseries antifreeze which helps a lot once it is configured properly for my system. Also had to configure Catalyst Control Centre for better performance. Even with all that my fps wasn't great, it was playable outside and good indoors. However, after updating to patch 1.3 my fps got even better :D With patch 1.2 I had 10-15 fps in Markarth using the same settings, with patch 1.3 I now get 20-35 fps in Markarth! 9. Been playing on 1.3 for ages now, and so it is by far the best patch; haven't crashed once and no more stuttering. Turning no longer reduces fps at all and therefore it is smooth as butter when looking around, and also increased my fps on a dual core processor from 10-15fps in Markarth to 25-35 fps in Markarth, on Ultra graphics with tweaked shadows and high resolution water textures. Using a lot of high resolution textures with enb series antifreeze d3d9.dll and 4GB launcher. System: Intel Duo Core 2.2GHz ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series 4GB DDR3 Ram. If you have a dual core processor I would definitely recommend updating to this patch, it will make your game a lot smoother. (backup just incase though, thats what I did - have since deleted my backup). It also remedies any errors that you got with patch 1.2, but I never got any errors with patch 1.2 either, I've only seen the backwards flying dragon on a friends computer and 1.3 fixed it.
  10. Any one got a dual core processor and noticed if patch 1.3 helped with performance? I have a dual core and not sure if I can be bothered messing around with the patch, unless ofcourse it will (or atleast should) improve my performance.
  11. I also have this same issue. I was able to fix it however it came at the cost of some fps. I downloaded the fps limiter mod from skyrim nexus and changed the settings in the antilag.cfg to: [config] RenderAheadLimit=1 FPSlimit=0 (mod can be found here: http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34) Running on Ultra Graphics with Tweaked Shadows, 25-40 fps outdoors and 45-60 indoors. Using, high resolution textures and enb series mod. I found that tweaking the enbpatch.ini to run the fps limiter with the enbseries mod completely removed the microstutter that I was getting however it also reduced my frames to 20-30 fps outdoors and 35 - 50 indoors. My System: ATI Radeon HD 4800 series 512MB Intel Dual Core 2.2GHz 4GB DDR3 Ram In the end I choose to turn off the fps limiter mod and put up with the micro stutter. However your system may be able to handle it. Also, using only the fps limiter by itself doesn't cause an fps drop, its only when using it with the enb series mod that I got a drop in fps, but I prefer enbseries. Hope that helps Edit: Just to clarify, using the fps limiter by itself with those settings that I posted also removed the micro stutter. It works by limiting the amount of frames that are rendered ahead of your gpu, thus removing the stutter. Without this there is no limit to the amount of frames that are loaded ahead of your gpu and therefore when your gpu catches up it stutters slightly (or a lot depending on how good you gpu is).
  12. Anyone know how many mb's the 1.3 patch is? went to update and it says the patch size is 4.2 GB lol....
