  1. I love to examine my characters and check out their 3D models, but they are stuck inside a small window and not ideal for screenshots. If the windows could be larger, it would allow players to get a closer view. An option to enhance the camera controls would be nice as well to get those extreme close up in shots.
  2. I was not actually aware of that console command. I'm going to try it out, although from what the bugs I've read about are saying, it might not work as I was hoping for.
  3. I've been using mods like Scrap Everything and Spring Cleaning for a while now, but there is still the hassle of going through and scrapping every little twig and piece of garbage that I see lying around. One thing that I would love to see is a mod that scraps everything with the press of a button. This could be an added option to the workbench or something. You press one button and the mod looks around. Everything that CAN be scrapped, IS scrapped, all at once. There should definitely be a confirmation prompt of course, as this would scrap player made items as well. Yes, this would be a huge timesaver.
  4. I love Survival, but there are 1 or 2 things about it that I really don't like. One of those things is companions not recovering on their own after they go into bleedout. Now, I understand how this is "realistic", but I hate it and am trying to make a mod to re-enable it. I've managed to edit the hardcore script so they stand back up after a few seconds, but now they just stand there. They won't follow me again or obey commands. If I run away from them, then they return home, just as if they were still bleeding out and I abandoned them. Any ideas on what else I need to do in order for them to return to following the player as if they recovered normally? (I'm an amateur modder. This would actually be my first mod ever.)
  5. Ever since I played Fallout 3 and NV, I always thought how cool it was that when you die sometimes, a limb(s) get blown off as your body ragdolls around. Then I began to think, "People can survive losing an arm". So I looked for mods that would allow the player to continue to play if they managed to survive an encounter that caused them to lose a limb. I never did find a mod like that. Maybe I missed it? Who knows. I would like to request a mod that adds an additional layer to having a limb injury. Here are just some thoughts I had. Of course, these would all be up to the mod author that decides to take on this request. Add a second health bar to all limbs. After the first is depleted, the limb is injured, just as it is in vanilla. If the second health bar is depleted, the limb is "removed" from your body.Losing any limbs results in substantial penalties.Losing an arm would lower your accuracy with ranged weapons substantially. Melee weapons could also be affected somehow.Losing both arms would render you useless in a fight. The only thing you can do is run away.Losing a leg would result in slower movement speed. A hopping animation would be nice for this.Losing both legs would result in even slower movement speed. A crawling animation would be nice for this.If the player manages to lose both legs and both arms without dying, they are pretty much screwed. They would just be lying there with no way to fight or move.Naturally, losing your head is death anyway (Unless you want to create some crazy reason for being able to survive this).Whenever you lose a limb, your health would begin to deplete until you either die or use a stimpak, which would stop the bleeding. This would not allow you to regrow your limb.To get your limb fixed or replaced, you would need to visit a doctor. The doctor would have the ability to grow you a new limb or replace it with a robotic limb for a decent fee.Lastly, as a bonus, there could also be perks that allow the player to either negate the effects of missing a limb, or even enhance their abilities. For example: When missing an arm, double the damage of melee weapons since the remaining arm is getting all the exercise.
  6. I had this great idea for a mod that I would love to see somebody, more skilled than I, make. The entire mod should be made in a new world space so it doesn't take up a huge chunk of the Skyrim map. The player starts off by finding an abandoned manor. You have to fix it up to make it a livable home for yourself. Once it's finished, you need to decide what to do with the rest of the area. To make things simple, there should be designated plots set up where the player can choose to place buildings. Each plot is available to place any building you choose. Things such as lumber mill, blacksmith, residential house, guard barracks, etc. Each building takes a different number of resources to build. Once each building is placed, the player needs to find or hire people to fill the positions and live there. Blacksmiths, guards, etc. There workers will also need a house to live in. Maybe some people will join for free after helping them with a quest. Others may join your village by simply paying them up front. The player can choose to fill the village completely, or leave some spaces empty if you want to keep some sort of grassy or park area. To spice things up, bandits could attack every so often, which makes hiring guards necessary to fight them off. This seems like a lot of work to make, which is why there is no chance I could make something like this. But it would be amazing.
  7. There are tons of player homes out there which look amazing and all have great features, but there is something that has always bothered me. Nobody lives in them until the player walks up and claims it for themselves. The house is already fully furnished and stocked with decorations. The most the player usually has to do is find the key or maybe buy it. I've downloaded quite a few player homes over the years and every time I check them out, I'm like "Yup, it's a house." Not having to work for it was dull. When Hearthfire came out, I loved the fact that you simply bought the land and had to build the house yourself. It took time and resources and is much more fulfilling when it's finished. I know there are 1 or 2 houses on the site that already require building, but I would love to see more mod makers create houses that actually take work to finish, more than just finding a key or handing over some easy gold. Hearthfire already has the system in place to build your own house. Can players not utilize this system to make their own?
  8. I've recently been downloading many, many player homes looking for ones that I would like to use as my primary Dragonborn base of operations, for my next new game. There are two major problems with almost all of them: 1. They are free. 2. They require almost no effort to acquire. Building your own home, or at least paying for it to be furnished, gives the player a sense of accomplishment when they enter it after it is completed. You start off with an empty house with four walls and a floor. Then you end up with all the things you need to fulfill your Dragonborn destiny. But when you simply walk down the road and find (download) a house, already filled with everything you need, the place is just... boring. It doesn't feel like YOUR house because you put in zero effort to acquire it. Now, I really liked the way the Hearthfire DLC let you build your own house. You could customize each wing to what you wanted. My warrior character had an armory, bedroom, and trophy room, while my mage character had a kitchen and two towers. Each time I built the house, I could make it a little different to suit my current character build. More than that, it took time and resources to build it, which made it feel more like I earned the right to live there and move my family in. Can we use the same system that Hearthfire uses to build our player made houses from the ground up? Can we use the same system as the vanilla houses by starting off with a run-down shack, paying gold to have it cleaned up and furnished with all the necessities? I only know of one mod (Build Your Own Home by supernastypants) that lets you do this. I would definitely like to see more.
  9. The closest thing I could find to Scarlet Witch is the Astaroth Suit, so I'm going with it. Hopefully I can see more outfits like this being made in the future. If not, maybe I'll give it a shot and try making it myself, although I have absolutely no skills with textures.
  10. I've been looking for an outfit for my mage character. I really want to get Scarlet Witch's outfit, from X-men. Scarlet Witch I've been unable to find anything really close to this that isn't part of a fetish collection or too skanky.
