  1. There is a mission (I don't want to spoil it by saying which one; if you've done it, you know) where an NPC boldly charges into a room and gets wiped out by a trap. Thing is, his body usually winds up in a position to trigger the trap again. And again... and again... Perhaps I'm easily amused, but I've stood there for a full minute watching him get reduced to a thin paste.
  2. It's free, but you don't get to keep it after you leave the sewers. It's put there so that you can have a good weapon to get you through the first dungeon, if you think to pick it up. If your taste runs more to maces and axes, you'll find some of those along the way too.
  3. Walk into the grand hall of Cloud Ruler Temple, then look up. ... D'oh! Sorry, but most of the times I've been in the main hall of Cloud Ruler, it's to hand over something to Martin and listen to Jauffre gripe about Martin's latest unwise idea. Never thought to pan the camera up.
  4. As I recall, Baurus says that Captain Renault's katana will be put in a place of honor ... but I'm pretty sure that place does not actually exist in the game.
  5. Convalescence, yes - you can get it at most chapels, and in Anvil I suppose. That, frequent rest breaks, and the occasional reload is how I made it through that ordeal. And then, if you haven't already, you get to go through it all over again at Bruma. (At least Burd is immortal, but I did my best to keep the other guards alive too, even if they had a distressing habit of charging off bridges into lava.) Got another one for this topic now: The flavor text on the level-up screens "peaks" WAY too early. You're not yet level 20, probably not more than halfway through the main quest line (or any others), don't even have the best gear yet, and it's already telling you that all you can look forward to from here is slow decline. Boy, that really makes me want to keep playing...
  6. I saw that happen outside Bruma. I don't know what set them off, but they were having an archery duel. I tried to stop them by using the console and turning off their combat AI, but they went right back to turning each other into pincushions. I decided not to wait around to see who finally won.
  7. Two months later, Kvatch is still on fire. (Yes, I know there's a mod for that.) Speaking of stuff fixed by mods: radioactive-lime colored glass armor. And late-game bandits wearing full suits of it, when they could sell it and retire. (I finished the MQ at level 21, and gave myself a temporary -10 levels just so I could do the Fighter's Guild set with sane armor spawns.) Oh yeah - speaking of the Fighter's Guild quests, after I'm done, I'd like to see the Blackwood Company building reduced to a burned-out shell.
