I'm running an i5 2500k and a radeon 7970, trying to make the best looking game I can, what mods would you all suggest that are know to work well together?

Hey all I'm sure this is a loaded question but here it goes, I haven't played skyrim or modded in quiet sometime, I'm getting a new PC soon with a R9 290x. I haven't been able to play with a lot of mods in the past, I was hoping to get some suggestions on the "must have" texture/mesh mods (non-nude for npcs). as well as the must have quest addition mods. last I new enb was the go to for aesthetics, does anyone know a preset that gives the feel of it just raining (you know like when all the greens just seem to pop out at ya). any great re-balance or game revamping mods? I know this is a lot to ask, I'll be searching myself but there are a lot of mods out there and I thought I could get some help here :P

In game the ears have never seemed long enough. was wondering if it's possible for someone to make a mod that would lengthen the elven ears. I was thinking the length of hylians from Legend of Zelda.
