I have recently been running into an issue where a number of mods I've tried to install are causing the game not to load(infinite loading screen). There are mods on occasion that the cause is more obvious because of obvious conflictions with other mods, so I just forget about those. I get no error when this happens, and there is nothing to merge in script merger. All mods are up to date to my knowledge. Game version : 1.31 GOTY Several of the mods causing this issue : HD reworked Real contrast textures character series Familiar music Immersive sound (patch only) Mod list : Unification patch Script merger Beautiful grass w/ 4k textures Improved yennefer better trophies better horse equipment bootstrap modcan ? clouds curvy triss dense rainfall e3 dodge system FCR3 immersion and gameplay tweaks hairworks on everything but geralt heavy clouds increased draw distance modLOD more shadows natural torchlight next gen stones and misc no dirty lens effect novigrad reloaded full phoenix lighting II shared imports ultra high definition project (hd reworked was fine before I installed this) real contrast textures phoenix 1 and 2 white orchard 4k terrain System specs if it matters Ryzen 5 2600x gtx980 16gb ddr4 750w

It's been a few years since I've used Mod Organizer, I only vaguely remember the overwrite folder and what I did with files within. FIve esm.backuop files showed up after the "cleaning" process performed with SSEedit, and I have a warning saying "there are files in your overwrite folder, indicating that I should be doing something with them. The guide I'm using is a few months out of date, and the process he used to move the files has changed, (according to a commentor below) being he had additional files from the cleaning I didn't have. My only question is what do I do with these files? I currently have the exe integrated into MO, but having issues with some of the settings, as I don't believe this program will even function correctly untill I set this up. The youtube guide on the Merge Plugins main nexus page states that all users should have the "handle script fragments" box checked under the merging tab. This is grayed out for me, unable to checkit. Also, under the integrations tab, I am trying to manually enter the mod manager paths, but am unableo hit ok when finished, as that is grayed out as well. If I click "detect integrations", It gives me a message saying "Could't automatically detect Mod Organizer's path. Please locate it yourself". Ok Im posting this in a last ditch effort to fix this game before I have to start all over again. This is my second playthrough, and unfortunately I was a bit late in realizing that it was my precious "true darker dungeons" mod that was breaking my quests from the start. Any way the quest is "diplomatic immunity". Im stuck on the part where youre to meet malborn in solitude at the winking skeever. So malborn is not at the winking skeever, had the same problem last playthrough. This game just like the last Ive had to console command my way through a number of quests due to them being broken. Its worked quite effectively up untill this quest. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Diplomatic_Immunity Heres what ive tried and it hasent worked. Command lines go in with no error, but I get nothing completed. setstage MQ201 10 setstage MQ201 15 setstage MQ201 20 setstage MQ201 30 None of those are working. If I dont find a fix for this I will have to start over a 3rd time. I didnt mind the second, but Im not to thrilled about restarting again. Plz any help would be appreciated, thx.

As the topic title says, she never showed up. Im lvl 20 now still no lydia. Btw this is my second play, I rage quit my first at lvl 37 due to mods breaking to many quests. It looks like it might have possibly been my "true darker dungeons" mod that was breaking everything, thx to some great help I got from someone on another post I made. So could this mod have possibly caused this as well? Either way is there anyway to inject her into my game as a housecarl with the console? I found a huge list of codes online for putting npcs into the game so but didnt find any codes for companions and such. Any suggestion appreciated

Awesome thx so much man that worked, and it makes me really sad but it looks like Im probably gonna have to remove that darker dungeons mod for now...sigh -

Yea thx for your response that was informative. As for getting the key for mzfult, I did research that and found a site with a ton of item id's but none of them were anything like dungeon keys or quest related items. Can you confirm that this does exist? -
Hi I am on my second game of skyrim, as I rage quit my first at lvl 37 due to so many quests breaking and I was tired of console commanding my way through them. Well, at lvl 12 or so my second game is even worse. I have s*** breaking all over the place. Anyway, the college of winterhold staff of magnus quest where u enter mzfult, theres supposed to be an injured npc just inside, that youre supposed to get a key to the dungeon from....well hes not there. Of course again the only thing I could think of was to advance myself to the next step in the quest via console, which worked, but I still had no key and no way to enter the dungeon. This officially now currently breaks this game for me as I have no wish to continue if I cant enter this dungeon, if I remember correctly there is a word wall in this one. Ive tried to see if theres a command to actually obtain that key, or summon the npc via console, have found similar commands but not exactly what i need. Btw I am currently running idk around 25 mods, and I am supposing 1 or several of these mods are whats breaking all these quests. A buddy of mine did some research and said that apparently my "true darker dungeons" mod was apparently breaking some side quests. Ive tried removing the mod but it dodnt do anything because Im sure the mod would have to have been removed before I started the chain for it not to affect the quest. Besides the true darker dungeons mod does anyone know of any other mods or types of mods that might be affecting these quests? Any tips are greatly appreciated as Im completely out of ideas atm thx.

Im unable to properly complete one of the major quests, battle for whiterun I think is the name if it. As soon as I enter dragonsearch to attack the guards and get the jarls surrender all kinds of problems start. Have been through several scenarios and wasnt able to get the surrender from the jarl because everytime I attempt to talk to him it says "this player is busy". I finally actually tried leaving whiterun and quick traveling to another location then back to whiterun, the quest completed but gettting the surrender from the jarl failed. This basically broke the game for me because after this I was unable to equip my weapons and combat music was still playing in town. Tried going back to all my previous save but all with the same result. I mod constantly and Ill admit the game keeps getting worse as far as broken quests are concerned. And I think I may have finally broken the game, and may have to start all over again. Does anyone know of any way to fix these quests that Im supposing are getting screwed up possibly due to my continual modding? Is there anyway to prevent this in the future?
