If the formula they listed is correct, yes, your armor over 567 is useless. Unless you're fighting things that penetrate armor. So...mace/warhammer wielding bandits?

Haha, I have the same problem. I actually rather disliked the Thieves Guild quest for that reason too. The whole guarding the sanctuary in life *and* death thing really doesn't sound cool.

I found that Elder Dragon's and Frost Dragon's started appearing around the same time. My experience would predict something like 1-10 dragon 11-30 Blood Dragon 30-45 Elder/Frost Dragon 45-? Ancient Dragon Skeleton dragons show up during specific quests.
