If you guys are still getting the ctd near Boston you need to get the "country crossing crash fix (automatron)." I had the same crashing as all of you and this mod/patch fixed it. Saved a 100 hr. Character. I've also heard that the def_ui mod can cause the crash as well, but it's all linked to the mechanist base after completing automatron.

I'm having that exact same issue, anything with a Vertibird and near the Boston Airport cause me to CTD. Have any of you been able to figure out a fix??
