  1. Was I the only person who was disapointed by the armory at the end of Operation Anchorage? Back when I played Fallout 3 on the Xbox 360, I used the Gary 23 glitch and pulled many many items out of the simulator. Not for personal use, but for making the armory LOOK like an armory. What my request is, is to simply add in a few more items on the shelves of the armory, and maybe a few other things. Hopefully, this sounds as simple as I think. I divided the shelves on the left and right between factions. The left being American, and the right being Chinese. I will simply list the recommended items to put on the sides. (Keep in mind that the items in the armor are the versions found in the simulator) American Side: 5x 10mm Pistols 4x Trench Knifes 4x Winterized Combat Armors + Helmets 1x General Chase's Overcoat 1x Laser Rifle 1x Gauss Rifle 3-4x Assault Rifles Frag Grenades (any amount, or none at all.) 1x Sniper Rifle 1x Guns and Bullets Chinese Side: 1x Chinese Stealth Suit 3x Winterized Chinese Jumpsuits + Hats 1x Sniper Rifle 4x Chinese Pistols 3x Chinese Assault Rifles 1x Chinese Officer Sword 1x Chinese Spec Ops Manual Anything else: Medical Supplies? More Shelves? Assorted Ammunition? Dead Guards outside of armory? (In combat armor with Assault Rifles or Infiltrators) Well, that concludes more request. Hopefully, someone takes this.
  2. I've always wanted to see an M1a1 Carbine mod. One that runs off of the classic .30 caliber rounds. I want 2 variants, or one that just has a mod to it. the classic WWII version, and a modern day one (As seen below). The clip size would be 15 rounds and the damage can be on par or a little lower then that of This Machine's. So yeah, I love the M1 Carbine and would like to see it in New Vegas.
  3. This is mod idea I've been throwing around in my head for a while now. It's a companion/quest mod that adds a new female companion: Naomi Sazutcki. Back story: NCR Back Story: Naomi was born near the edge of NCR territory on December 4th, 2259 to a family of farmers. When she was 9, a raiding party murdered her family. She managed to survive the raid by hiding in a closet. 3 days later, and NCR patrol found her and took her to their base of operations. she stayed ther until she was 16, when she joined the NCR Military. By 21, she had become an NCR Ranger. However, on one mission against what seemed to be a small Legion camp, her entire team was killed, leaving her as the only survivor. she was tramatized by this event, because she was taken as a sex prisoner for the person in charge of the camp. She was listed as MIA, presumed dead. a year later, she was able to escape the camp, but only after she killed the leader of the camp. She soon made it into the Mojave Wasteland, ending up at the 188 Trading post. she had been traveling for a while, and she was able to find armor and guns for her own use. The Courier finds her talking to some NCR soldiers at the 188 Trading post. Figuring out the the Courier was out for revenge for getting shot in the head, Naomi decided to team up with the Courier so she could try to get some revenge for what the Legion did to her and her squad, by destroying the camp she was help prisoner in for a year. Pre-War Back Story: Naomi Sazutcki was a counter-intelligence operative serving under the pre-war government. Her job was to find Chinese spies and get rid of them. She was working to keep a secret fallout bunker in the west secret from the Chinese, since the bunker was full of advanced technology. The bunker's main purpose was to leave an army of soldiers in cryo sleep, only to rise when the radiation had cooled down. But the bombs fell before the bunker was completed. Everything but the exterior sensors and main generator was complete by the time the bombs fell. Most of the soldiers were out with they're families at the time, so only the ones at the bunker were able to make it into cryo. Naomi was on base with a group of soldiers at the time, so she was able to make it into an unoccupied cryo pod. The generator for the base, although in it's final stage, still wasn't complete. because of that, slowly by slowly, a pod would turn off to keep power on for higher value persons. Naomi conveniently jumped into a pod for a Colonel, making her pod the highest ranking in the base. The Courier finds this bunker in an abandoned store outside of New Vegas to find it to be a Super Mutant Lair. By the time the Courier finds Naomi, she is the only pod left on. Dazed and confused, she is slow to trust the Courier. She comes with him as a way to return the favor for getting her out. Eventually, she learns to like the Courier, becoming more friendly and open as time passes, maybe even falling in love with him. I feel like both back stories are lore friendly, and whoever picks up this idea can choose either one and can tweak them however he/she desires. Now onto simple appearance and inventory: He would have short, dark red hair, due to he military background. she would you Rainy 01 or Rainy 11 hair style from the Cazy hair resource: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/44009/? Her eyes would be bright green. Her main weapon would be a Marksmen Carbine (can be removed from her inventory). Her armor could be a custom armor, being either a modified version of Reinforced combat armor or a Pre-War Suit with a bullet proof vest and a holster on it for the Pre-war back story, or a modified version of NCR Veteran Ranger armor, being a jacket and a torn apart riot armor chest plate and a pair of jeans with a pistol holster for the NCR Back story. Both armors would have her wear a red bandana on her arm. If the mod author doesn't feel like doing that, he she can just use a suit of Reinforced Combat armor or Type 3 Geonox Riot Amor: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/44014/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D44014&pUp=1 This is just a thought, but it would be lovely if she would have larger breasts then others, maybe even have a little cleavage show on her outfit. Just a thought though. doesn't have to be done. Now, her quests. They would be simple quests, since I feel like doing the thing I've previously mentioned are a lot as it is. Pre-war Back Story Quests: The Operative: Investigate Pre-War bunker. find a way to open Naomi's pod and rescue her. Cheer Up, Naomi! Find ways to make Naomi like you, and eventually fall in love with you. NCR Back Story Quests: The Lone Ranger: There is an ex-NCR ranger in the area. She's out to get revenge. Care to help? The Therapist: Try to help Naomi overcome her tramatizing experience from a year ago. Each quest is open to modder enhancement and input. I left a lot of leg room for the modder so they can add input to this. And that's all I've got. I'm really looking forward to someone trying to pick this up! hope whoever takes this enjoys it!
  4. I've been tossing this idea aroud for a while. Basicly, its a reverse version of the mod Wasteland Defense. An unkno orce has lunched a mass Blitzkrieg style attack, and has taken major parts of the mojave wasteland, like HELIOS 1, the Hoover Dam, The Fort, Hidden Valley Bunker, ect. I was thinking that the Courier could be chosen to lead a reclamation force to reclaim the mojave. I thought that there could be an HQ the player could go to with a terminal inside. that terminal could have a list of squads to enlist like sniper squads and infantry squads. And, the player can buy upgrades to apply to the units like better armor or weapons.the player could also buy things like artillery barrages and airstrikes. Elite units could also be included, like NCR veteran Rangers, Legion Certurions, and BoS Pladins. once the units are organized, the player pushes the:commence Assault button on the terminal, and the player telports outside the objective with the enlisted units and begins the assault. I realy haven't gotten too far into the layout of this mod, so it is open for change.

  6. LIGHTNING LEGION ASSAULT ARMOR This armor should be found in a crate somewhere in Goodsprings. With 2 suits of L.L. Assault armor, L.L. Assault Helmet, and L.L. Combat Helmet (armor)30 WG,(helmet)0 WG. Armor: Medium, Helmet: Light Armor DT:28, Helmet DT: 8 This armor is in the NCR Ranger Combat Armor catagory, but not faction armor. This armor has modifications similar to Geonox's Riot Armor, because that inspired this. Note:The lightning bolt and pouch are attatched to this file.   7. REFERANCE MATERIAL FOR THE MK-380 IS ATTATCHED!! (Sorry about the Crappy paint drawing) Note: I need someone who can re-texture guns, can make weapons that cause effects(like knocking someone over), can make a new ammo type,and someone who can make the gun off of drawn 2D picture references. I am also soon posting a updated The Remnants Quest Mod, and the weapons in this will be in it. Now, The mod. Outside of Doc Mitchel's, there is an Enclave crate(don't quite know the name of it.) just inside his fence. Inside, there are several weapons: MK-380 Assault Rifle: 8 WG, (guns 50) Dam:45, DPS:235, Magazine of 35. Fires the new 7.35mm rounds(also made in mod) has the scope like a Bozar and the zoom sights too. Reloading action will be either one of the FO3 Assault Rifle, of a Riot Shotgun, or of a Service Rifle. It will be Fully Automatic. Has 3 mods to it(none change actual features):Upgraded Internals(Increases Condition by 50%), Upgraded Rifling(reduces spread by some amount), and Carbon Fittings(-2 wg). The firing noise will be of the mod makers choice, as long as it sounds like it fits. There will be several versions of this weapon:a regular colored one, a desert version, a woodland version, a winter version, and a digital camo version. The mod maker can decide if there will be a stock pouch. There will be ammo in the box too. The crate has: 35000 7.35mm rounds 25000 AP 7.35mm rounds 25000 Incendiary 7.35mm rounds 25000 HP 7.35mm rounds 25000 Explosive 7.35mm rounds 300000 Electron Charge Packs 300 .44 Magnum rounds 500 .50 MG rounds 50 Marker Charges MK-83 Light Machine Gun: 12WG, (Guns 50) Dam:25, DPS:428, Magazine of 110 Uses the 7.35mm rounds Basically a Re-textured Light Machine Gun, with a boxier looking magazine, more synthetic looking wood parts, and a Bi-pod folded or unfolded on the front. It has 2 mods to it: Extended Drum Magazines(ammo cap +110), and Carbon Upgrades(-4WG). The noises and reloading action can be the same, and there should only be 2-3 in the box. Nathan's .44 Magnum 4.5WG, (guns 50) Dam:48, DPS:77.5, Magazine of 6 Still uses .44 Magnum rounds, 85% critical chance, can be used as a holdout gun with a sneak under 50 Re-textured .44 Magnum, with a synthetic looking handle, a worn shiny(ish) Matte Black base color, and a Crimson Red revolver cylinder. It has 2 mods to it: a .44 scope, and a Silencer. Janson's Anti-Materiel Rifle 15WG, (Guns 50) Dam:125, DPS:55, Magazine of 8 Still uses all forms of .50 MG rounds, and has a 100% critical chance Re-textured Anti-Materiel Rifle, wood parts are synthetic looking, black base color is a little more shiny, and a yellow stripe on the end of the rifle just before the barrel. It is a Semi-Automatic Anti-Materiel Rifle, instead of being the regular Bolt Action It has one mod: Extended Magazines(ammo cap +2) MK-287 Man-Portable Particle Beam Cannon: 22WG, (Energy Weapons 50) Dam:35, DPS:325, Magazine of 175 Uses Electron Charge Packs Re-texture Plasma Caster, It has a dish sort of projection plate instead of the 3 large prongs, The body is re-colored a blue color, the 6 lights on the front are re-colored dark blue. Is Fully Automatic, and fires a Continuous Blue Beam. It has 3 mods to it: HD Particle Focuser(Dam+10%), Enhanced Particle Tanks(ammo cap+25), and HD Body Alloy(condition+25%). The noise it makes can be a Gatling Laser, or Whatever fits. 25 MK-27 Stun Grenades: These do basicly no damage, look like Pulse Grenades, makes an explosion like a Pulse Grenade, but knocks people over for 25-35 Seconds. If it can be done, these will not make people hostile if caught in blast radius. Air Strike Radio: Looks like a NCR Emergency Radio, but can call in a Vertibird strike like in either Enclave Commander, or in Wasteland Defense. It should work by clicking it in the Misc section, opens a little menu with strike choices, and when one is selected, the Pip Boy exits out, and the player can mark the chosen location with a little marker. Once placed, the Airstrike will come in and rain death upon the enemys. Finally, Target Designator Basicly a Laser Pistol that when you go into the sights, it zooms in with a Laser Rifle Scope. Now, this runs off of Marker Charges, which are really just energy cells in their own category, and when the laser hits a target or object, an Artillery Strike comes down, focused on the selected position. And that is all for the L.L. Arms Mod. I'll post a L.L. Armor mod later this month.
  8. (note that this is a breif overview of this quest, and doesn't get into details) Now, in the Camp McCarran terminal, there is a man named Major Carter. Now he says that he has picked up a strange, low frequency, coded message, and that he wants to investigate, but the NCR's is conserned on more important matters than a morse code signal. He thinks it is more than that. he wants you to follow the signal and find out it's origan. You go to the source of the brodcast and find a small Enclave post with 3 Enclave soldiers in remnants armor withs some red stripes on them. The leader approches you and calls you a tresspasser and attacks you. after dispatching the 3 troops, 3 more NPCs show up, two named Unknown mercenary, the last, Jacobson Marteen.they then attack you. once the are all killed, it tells you to search th Enclave sigma team leader and Jacobson Marteen. you search them both to find out the Enclave has hired the Talon Company, and that they have set up a base near Outer Vegas. You then return to Major Carter and tell him the news. he tells you to wait a few days and return to him. A few days later, you return and he says that you are the leader of the NCR Anti-Enclave task force and give you two items, an artillery strike marker and a Vertibird assault marker. He tells you how to use them and and gives you the location of the anti-enclave outpost. You head there and speek with the head officer, Colonel Nathan, and tells you to go and scout out the defenses. you go and do that to a certain two points and return. he then wants you to tell Major Janson the chosen weapon loadouts for this mission. You talk to Janson and tell him the loadouts and he can repair your yhings and sells stuff too. You then recruit troops in the Barracks for your mission and you can open their inventory and everything. When you are about to comense the assault, Colonel Nathan stops you and says you need to disable a minefield surrounding the target. So you go and disable the minefield with a switch in a tower on one of the sides of the minefield. Once you pust the switch, The assault on the Enclave Research Outpost begins. You join the NCR and assault the Outpost as Enclave soldiers start to pour out and attack. At one point, Janson tells you you need to call in an airstrike on the main door to get it open. the vertibird flys in and blows it up, allowing entrance. Nathan than tells you to go room to room and kill every Enclave member you can find. You kill all the Enclave you find and come up on a door labled: Command Center. You walk in to find a fortified position with heavy enclave soldiers and Mark 7 turrets. An Enclave officer named: General Hareford speaks with you and says why you are doing this. in the end, he opens fire and you troops start to come in. The general flees and you give chace. you run through the armory where some really heavy enclave troops ambush you. You see the general run into the next room, the containment room. when you wak in, he pushes a switch and releases the contained specimains. He the runs into the storage area and you give chase as NCR and Enclave clash around you. he runs into the vertical take off area, and heads up the winding catwalk. when you make it to the top, he jumps down onto an inaccessable catwalk. You the open the hanger's doors and target him withe the artillery strike maker. The high ordanance rains down, destroying vertibirds below, sending general Hareford to hell. You make it out and back to the Anti-Enclave outpost and speak to Colonel Nathan. He says that you, him, and Janson are going to assault the Found Talon company HQ. They can wait until your ready outside the North Strip gate and Janson can repair a few items for free. When you say you are ready, the three of you go out to the HQ. you bust a hole in the wall and head in, with your objective to kill all and take no prisoners. When you are done killing the talon company, Colonel Nathan says he's relieved that it is all over, and gives you his .44 magnum+mods. Your final objective is to speak with Janson, and he gives you his Anti-Material Rifle+mods. The quest is the completed and Nathan and Janson walk out and dissapear.
