Searching for a mod with auto lockpicking and no XP
gaa replied to gaa's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thank you for answering. I can try a request. -
Hello. I have an issue with my hands which make the lockpick minigame difficult to do. I have installed Remove Lockpicking LINK which remove the minigame, but I am also interested in removing the experience, too. Does anybody know of a such mod?

The new version of Tes5Edit seems to find more ITM's in various mods, this may well be the cause.

Thank you for answering. In the RW2 mod discussion page there is one saying that the itm's are intentional. I just couldn't remember that there was so many. Not 7 but 10 (6 in RW2, 4 in RW2 Legendary). I've checked for conflicts in TES5Edit, and I cannot find other mods editing the references that pop up with RW2, so I suppose the conflict is with the gamefiles themselves. I reinstalled without Skyrim Supplemental Patch, but that didn't make any difference, so that is back in the load order.

I am just now installing Skyrim LE with NMM (0.65.10). After installing Realistic Water 2 LOOT shows total of 7 ITM for RW2/RW2 Legendary. I haven't installed Vivid Weathers yet, but this will also show ITM's. I have used these for years, but I can't remember I got ITM's earlier. The only mod wich is new in my setup is Skyrim Supplemental Patch. Could this be the reason for the ITM's? Can someone describe how I check for conflicts? The texture mod I use is Optimized Vanilla Textures + HD file.

Very useful description to how to make better search. Thanks a lot.

Thanks. This button was blue in my browser (Firefox) so I missed it among all other blue buttons. Is there a more colorful skin somewhere? All I have is grey text on a slightly darker grey background, and blue buttons with almost same intensity as the grey. The readability is not that good. (Could also be that my eyesight isn't as good as it was.)

Could you provide a detailed clarification on the problem(s) you are having? If you have already done so in one of the open topics, then please link your post. I cannot find any option for search in mod description, as the old site have. If I will search for a player house on Solstheim, I only get houses with Solstheim in mod name. If mod is called something else, e.g. Skaal-something, but Solsteim is mentioned in the description, it wont show up. The old system also made it possible to search with multiple choices. If this function is in place on the new site, I apologize, but then maybe you can point me in the right direction.

Hopefully the search function on the new site will be useful some time. This is what I will miss most when the old site is closed.

Ok, then we have different issues. I hope you find out how to solve your problem.

BCan you see the content of the files tab in the Sim Settlements mod? My problem, which wasn't a issue a week ago, is that I now get the E (Empty?) when I try to open a mod with https, like this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12273/. But when I remove the -s and write http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12273/, I get access to the files. Writing just www.something is the same as writing http://www.something, the http:// part is implicit.
-
What happens if you remove the -s in https in the web address? I get the E on some CBBE armor mods when I use https, but if I change to http I can open the download, images and forum thread pages. (I use Firefox btw.)

So looking forward to this.

I have a ASUS GTX670, but the 4 GB version. I have also overclocked slightly through MSI Afterburner, and I hope to be able to play 1920x1200 on High with decent FPS (I may have to reduce AA, but that don't bother me). If this plan works I will wait for next generation GPU (either Nvidia og AMD).

Hello all. I registered in early 2007, but I have so far been a reader of the forums. A bug (?) forced me to use another profile to dowload mods. Until recenty, when I opened one of the mod sites while logged on to this forum and still was logged on with this profile. I live in Tromso, a city in the northern parts of Norway. Due to the high latitude the sunlight differs a lot between summer and winter, and that means most gaming is done in late autumn and winter. From late winter I go skiing, and I do hiking and fishing in the summer. I have played games since I bought my first computer around 1980. Game info and news was harder to come by then, and I played mainly mainstream FPS (Doom, Unreal, Half Life). I also I tried the Gothic series. Then Oblivion was launched, and I have only played TES and Fallout after that. I am eagerly awaiting Fallout 4. I am not the most typical mod user as I use mods mostly for bug patching, better graphics and lighting, quest fixes and (smaller) gameplay effects and changes. Nevertheless I greatly appreciate the effort from the modding community all these years.
