If the Quest is bugged, then the console might not help you out....but you are doing it right, it was just like with Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3.....setstage/ name of stage/ part of stage

Same thing happens to me but with some Imperial Legion quests: The quest just wont start!!! Right now Skyrim has some major quest breaking bugs, so heres my advice: wait untill the next patch from bethesda comes out and then see if youre problem is solved, but i wouldnt worry about that particular quest since Ive completed and you dont get anything special about it.......If you want REALLY REALLY to do this quest right now (for some reason) just copy your saves to a folder and unistall the game. Theres no other way around it, some quest scripts are just broken (much because of the Radiant system)

Problem solved: I was initiating SKSE as administrator so the saves were all on the admnistrator account documents. This has never happened with other games before, though....

This happens in both 360 and PS3, never heard of anything like this on the PC....try some FPS boosters like Skyboost or TESVAL to see if this help. Another thing you can do is to copy the saves to some folder and unistall the game. That should fix your problem. Copy the saves to Documents/mygames/skyrim/saves and you got all of your progress back

How do you guys get around this bug?? You know, the one where you want to talk to her and she doesnt give you the "reporting for dutie" option and you cant advance in the Imperial Legion quest. Oh, and by some reason, the console doesnt help either. I heard you had to kill everyone, you had to lure a dragon, you had to use shouts on her, freeze her, beat her up, wait 24 hours, save, return to menu and load....nothing works. How do you bypass this?

So I finally installed SSE (latest version) so I could use SkyBoost and everything is fine, except for one thing: All my saves are gone and only a Auto-save right before you creat your char is available. If I launch Skyrim without the SKSE launcher, I have the saves again, so its just the SKSE loader.exe that doesnt have the saves. I copied all my saves to a "skyrim" folder the SKSE created in my dir. and still nothing. I did a couple of saves while on SKSE and I cant find them anywhere on my C. What the hell? Where does the SKSE loader goes to pick up save games? As this happened to anyone?
