From what i've found out, it means something is wrong with the mod and you're either gonna have to do one of the workarounds listed above or ditch the mod.
It is not my impression that this has something to do with the mod. I have stumpled into dozens of mods that experience the same issue, so I believe it is caused by something else (looking at you Steam)

Same error here + additional issue, just to brag and top it off: "Failed to extract plugin from ckm!". It seems to be widespread as I also see it mentioned on the Steam Workshop board for Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization:

To me it happens for Towns and Villages Enhanced (Dawnstar, Inns, Morthal, Winterhold, Markarth+, Solitude, Windhelm, Whiterun Exterior) and Enhanced Soundtrack (Pt1 - Explore) and Sounds of Skyrim - Civilization.
Havent played for 3-4 weeks but updated Steam a couple of days ago.

Theres both been a problem where the CKM seems corrupted, as well as the "archive size bigger than the mod". However, if you hit play before the data loads up that mod, it still works. -
I was disappointed when I couldn't give her the note too... I settled on just reverse-pickpocketing the torn note into her possession. I like to think she'll find it eventually, even if it's not actually part of the game :sad:
Maybe it was a mindslip from Bethesda - they seem usually to be good to tie these things together for "atmosphere worldbuilding".
I came sort of the other way round, pickpocketing Eydis noticing that me recent skill-up on pickpocket was able to remove her clothers. So there she stood; stark naked, almost, if not for her broom. Cough.
Next thing was naturally to Google for "skyrim eydis marriage".
Alas, no such thing, but i would like to add that to the Eydis-to-do-list - thank you so much.

same problem here - sort of. Standing in Jorrvaskr in Whiterun and want to exit to outdoors. None of the two exits gives anything but the load-screen. I can go from one room to another inside Jovaskr opening and closing doors with no probs.
The save game is just about 6 mb (5860 kb). I have 16 GB ram so I doubt that that is the culprit.
Have tried to run the game in windowed mode, and it seems that windows rather fast detects that the Skyrim application doesnt react anymore as the windows waiting "wheel" arises after a few secons.

No fix as far as I know.
I have been playing each day this month like this:
- Start Steam
- Find game
- Hit Play
The moment the small window with the Skyrim-view pop up and the buttons are filled:
- Hit Play
Dont wait for the mods to be loaded - they can however be seen loading in the bottom right of the window. At me is states "Checking mods..." and than trawls through them like "Mod 1 - blah blah", "Mod 2 - meh meh" etc. Dont stay on watching or it will crash when it reached the mods with issues :-)
