ummmm...get to the end of dawnguard and shoot the sun...then you don't have to deal with the sun... That's not permanent. that I didn't know...I never really cared for it. so I checked it out but reset my gamesave :-)

I would like to have the mudcrabs talk like the old creepy guy (herbert I believe) from Family Guy. I plan on doing this myself, but don't know how to do it, so I figured the mod community might be able to get it done faster then me. still gonna try it just in case no one picks this up.

yeah...think I figured it out from another post about Serana doing the same thing as my crossbow users...

hahahahaha...yeah that would be a bug...I can tell you he is dead...it won't effect it too much I wouldn't think.

I tried FNIS and I didn't like it, but I think I didn't completely delete it. so that is probably the problem...how that relates to Serana specifically, I don't know...guess I have some work ahead of me tonight...when I get home, gonna figure out how to get rid of all of that...

gonna have to try this. I did try a few other mods, and all I did was turn them off...I can live without poses...I can't live without my body mods, male or female... and I just posted this thing about the crossbows in a different topic...but yeah I have the same issue with serana...and they need to make her able to be married quickly...

so I install Dawnguard, I go to a town to hear a gurad talk about it, I am all pumped up, I hear that they are ressurecting the Dawngurad and I think, I can get in on that! so I march my little butt over to fort Dawngurad and I am like, YO! Let's kill some VAMPS!! and Isran is like, Cool, here's your crossbow. I swear I saw the lights of heaven shine down on that thing. and then...it happened. I equip it and go to shoot it and my character goes rigid as if she (I have tested with males and NPC's as well) had a stick shoved up her butt and she can't move. I can still move around the map, but she just kinda floats. The crossbow is still on my characters back. I try it in 1st person mode, YAY! it works! then I start shooting vamps...and the kill cams come...and sense is switches to 3rd person, it doesn't fire and it just sits there, looking like one of the manniquins in the game. basically, what I am getting at here, is that I am getting annoyed with this. I don't really know what to do to fix it, other then start over with a fresh game. (one of the three games I have, the character can't upgrade anything either...she goes to start and then backs away like I hit the B button. playing with 360 controller) so yeah...what do I do. don't really want to dump all of my mods, but I am guessing that is what I am going to have to do. WHICH SUCKS!

yeah I don't have that mod at all. I am going to have to go through and turn the mods off and just load saves to see what happens. thanks though

I don't even get the choice...I get to Harkon, he changes and then instantly tells me that I am banished, and I end up outside. I actually WANT to do the vampire lord story line. I can't use the crossbows either as they are glitchy. I am using lore friendly races, but I do have body mods and various other mods as well. this is just annoying. I can't use the items for the dawngaurd, and I can't become a vampire lord...if this is the problems we are having with the PC, I don't even want to imagine what is going on with the PS3 version sense they haven't released it yet. you'd think dumb bugs like this would have been figured out a long time ago. it's not like they haven't been working on this for months.

I am having a really hard time with the crossbow as well. it works fine in first person, except the crossbow is invisible, but in third person, my character goes rigid and the crossbow stays on their back. it won't fire either. the odd thing is that then my character will not walk, but kind of float along the ground. I am not sure if it has something to do with my mods or not (I do have a lot of them) but I am not sure...gonna try a different save with not as many mods.

and how do I revert back to 1.4.21? I can't find the patch anywhere and frankly, I have lost everything in this game. This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen in a game. it actually removed items from my inventory, but still made them craftable. so I was able to create them or spawn them through the console again, even though I had already had them in my inventory, and then some items just don't work all together. I am still able to see the locations through the console as well, like the BB Luxury Suite mod. I can type help "Luxury Suite" 4 and it gives me the location codes for it, but it, and all of the items I had stored there, are gone. So is Overlook Tower. those two were where I stored everything. However, Boulders loaded, no problem.

yeah so I have like...70ish mods installed in Skyrim. most load, no problem. when I have an issue, I track down the file, and I get rid of it. well...I don't know if it is the newest patch for Skyrim, or if it is the latest NMM download of 0.15.13, but now, the vast majority of my mods won't load, even though they are showing that they will in the data files menu. all of my armors and player homes are disappearing. I can't figure out why. and of course, this also means that all of my items that I had stored at said homes are also gone. basically leaving me with nothing of the 100 plus hours I have put into this game. Not really sure what to do at this point.

I don't know how easy it is to create a mesh for this game as that isn't what I am good at. however, I look at the ebony armor and all I see is Tekkaman Hiver from the tekkaman blade 2 anime series. I was just thinking it would be rather cool if someone could alter the mesh of the ebony armor to more resemble the tekkaman suites. I could then add the textures. probably...I haven't had a lot of experience with it but I should be able to figure it out by the time someone decides (if anyone ever decides) that this would be a good idea.
