  1. Hello! I recently installed the updated v7.0.9 of People of Skyrim - Complete Classic Version. I love the changes it so far has made and the additional trees it adds to Riverwood HOWEVER I dislike the other changes to Riverwood it makes, most notably the entrances (where you first see the mill/coming from Falkreath direction). I've always loved how lush and foresty Riverwood was and I'm saddened that the mod has stripped it bare. Is there anyway someone could edit the mod and upload a modular version where users can decide what changes they would like/wouldn't like like many of the other city overhaul mods out there? I think the user of the original mod hasn't got the time themselves to do such a version, but perhaps a modder out there wants to take the challenge? :)
  2. Hello all! Pretty simple. I've been trying to find a mod that simply adds food/cooking ingredient merchants to smaller towns. Kinda like a mini grocer where locals can go to get their food. Even if there was only a meat market stall and a fresh produce market stall would do. Or a mod that allows an NPC in these towns to actually sell these goods or an 'Order my Item' version for food and ingredients (or a combo of all of this, even). I just think, lore wise, for a town near such a river, with such forest around them, with NPCS already farming their own lands that there isn't one or two stalls already. I would give Merchants of Skyrim a go but the Patch required for it and the mod itself constantly CTD my game so I'm looking for improvements on that front.
  3. I am necroing this. Why? because currently, I am playing a particular build and a mod like this would be handy. Backstory: I am playing a high born elf named Elia and her backstory revolves around going from beggar (using Alt Start) to becoming quite rich due to being a successful thief with the Thieves guild. She ends up falling for Rune, and in turn, wants to marry him and help find out who his parents actually were. I would love a mod that brings a backstory to this interesting background NPC. :D So, I am hoping me necroing this thread might bump it and catch the eye of a modder needing new ideas !
  4. Bumping the thread. I, too, would like a better time mod for crafting and reading etc. I've tried Time Passes, Time Flies AND Living Takes Time mods and they crash my saves, crash new games and any new save created won't load.
  5. Greetings Modders, We often see immersion for patrols, civil war, survival BUUUUT... what about an immersion mod that adds weddings/funerals/love/friendship and certain domestic events for NPCs (mass at certain sacred sites/temples)? The Player can get married, but apart from player marriage, the temple of Mara is hardly used. And NPCs die but the loved ones still alive don't do anything with the bodies and barely many NPCs actually have a general job or truly have dynamics between their NPC families/close friends. Basically, the idea of a mod that generates random encounters that is more focused on the everyday life of living in Skyrim. Some ideas that could be considered: - NPCs invite you to their weddings/special events - Children will gather in tiny groups with an adult for stories/learning - Certain days townfolk gather for worship or discussing events related to the vanilla guests (if a dovahkiin for example murders too many people in a hold, town folk will together to discuss being fearful of the dovakiin possibly murdering them) - mages practice on each other - classes in both winterhold and bards college that simply create the idea of students learning without the bulk of needing to install entire overhauls for the colleges. - NPCs getting injured in everyday work and going to to elected 'healer' (either a mage or alchemy merchant) in the local area. To any modder/s who take up this idea, Thank you!
  6. Okay, heads up! Just don't think I'm ignoring you guys. Please, thank you for the replies so far! I was walking home and was considering reinstalling Skyrim and remodding from the start BUT... in theory, I considered forcing NMM to force reinstall the mods that might be causing problems and in theory, somehow 'reset' them to the way they were before whatever it was conflicted. It's a theory, and I'm not certain if it works but if it does, I will let you all know. If it doesn't, I will return back to this thread and try the solutions/advice etc you've all offered. *Update My theory worked. I am now able to start a new save.
  7. Hello! I had this post prepared in the background in case my last attempt to get a new game started failed once more. Okay - backstory before any of you go 'what about your rig?' or 'have you tried LOOT?' I've been modding for past few months. I've been faced with CTDs, errors and managed to fix them. I won't touch TES5 Edit for the simple reason is that 1) it crashes on me and 2) I don't feel qualified enough to edit mods themselves. I also use LOOT and Wyre Bash, and unless the patch conflicts or causes CTD/errors, I generally have patches installed. Alright. Up until the day before yesterday (Friday for me), the only error I've had has been trying to get to Whiterun stables, having it tell me I've discovered the place then a straight up CTD. I've completely uninstalled any mod that affected that area (churches of skyrim, whiterun outskirts etc) except for ETAC and Immersive Whiterun. However, I still had CTD. So, I went to uninstall ETAC and Immersive Whiterun to see if that cleared anything however, when starting a new save (like one should do when modding), suddenly Alternative Start wouldn't properly load the MCM/Mods. In fact, whenever I exit CC I end up CTDing when it tries to load. So, all in all, I just want a fix/tech support solution that helps even out MCM loading so its not all loading in one go and crashing my poor game so I can then go and see if I still have errors with Whiterun Stables. Currently, I even have problems just loading New Game/New Start :/ Grrrr. Also to add - Bash patch won't merge a majority of my mods and yes, I do know I have a lot of mods installed however, I've gotten a majority of it working. *Mod List As sorted by LOOT* http://www.modwat.ch/u/LadyDaemontusOfficial
  8. I, too, would like a mod that allows you to remove duplicates. I have food mods installed and while all add great content (hence why I don't want to remove them), they do add more then one copy of an item. For example, I have 4 (2 with 0.5 weight and 2 without any weight) of apple juice and its frustrating to see doubles of things. Same as I wish there was a mod that renamed preexisting objects so that we didn't constantly see 'leather' or 'dagger', we see 'bear leather' or something more specific. :c
