  1. I mean, hell, it'd fit quite nice, plus i think it's not too difficult to accomplish, given the game's resources, what do you think? http://www.fotogramas.es/var/ezflow_site/storage/images/noticias-cine/terminator-genesis-arnold-schwarzenegger-se-hace-pasar-por-una-figura-de-cera/58081422-1-esl-ES/Terminator-Genesis-Arnold-Schwarzenegger-se-hace-pasar-por-una-figura-de-cera_landscape.jpg
  2. http://i48.tinypic.com/zsilt.png You mean like this?
  3. What i know for my rig is that Inconsequential NPCs causes ctd's. I guess it's mainly because the additional NPC's were placed outside the city's cells, and Holds modifies it so that all cities have interiors. Best City to test is Falkreath, since it gets a major makeover. For your rig, try disabling your HD Textures mod, because those mods improve on the vanilla assets, and well, the vanilla assets have been mostly replaced. Also try testing the Lighting mods, that modify interiors and exteriors, since Holds pretty much mixes both up. Basically, beware of mods that have NPC spawns in open cities, anything that replaces assets within the city(some additional assets work: Notice Board - works) Oh and test the SMIM, it's like HD mods, improves, adds, or replaces vanilla assets.
  4. A mod that adds a group of npc's in tavern's, inns, et c, that are waiting to be called out to hunt a dragon with you. Not just the cliche follower mod or mercenaries. The emphasis is in the GROUP of mercenaries. Like when you hire them, you don't only get one person, you get a whole squad ready to hunt dragons with you. A simple group of brave men, or say dragon vigilantes ready to assist the dragonborn in purging the land of dragons. --- They don't have to be extra strong; basically some hired help, that could take some hits for you as you take down the dragon, some low or mid level mercenaries for hire as a group. Another way would be to make them battle like the way the civil war missions do it, where they'll merely rendezvous with you to a certain location and are allied to you, not necessarily followers, and walkthrough with you till you achieve the mission objectives(slay the dragon). The lore somehow says that the dragon cannot be killed by mere mortal men, only the dragonborn can stop the dragon's soul from reincarnating. That doesn't mean he has to do everything alone. ------------------------------- Edit: Remember how when you showcase your dragon shouts in public or in guilds, sooner or later, you receive an anonymous tip via courier, of a certain source of power/dragon roost. Why not transfer that feature, to this group of mercenaries per city, and have optional dialogue lines like: "Dragonborn, travellers have sighted a dragoon nesting over <insert dragon lair name>, we'd like to help." re: "Let's go." or: "Not Now." re2: "We'll meet you at the foot of the mountain." or: "Fine. We'll be right here if you need us." then, the miscellaneous quest would activate.
  5. You know, you could do a treasure hunting quest to top it all up, like you hunt for the lost/corrupted artifacts of Meridia. Some holy armor or something, or some aesthetic stuff that will beautify the temple, at least this way, you don't have to bother about major retexture, just adding new resources. Although that's just about the same trouble to undertake ahaha. xD But think the way Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, added quests to Oblivion, it's quite the handbook for quest modding.
  6. Wouldn't it be nice if the jarls somehow planned something to combat the dragon threat. Imagine if we could have ballistas in every hold. How it can be done, one, a retexture of the dwarven ballista's to make it look like it belong to the city, probably made of steel, et c. 2nd, an interactable machine, much like those stationary ballista's you find in dwemer ruins, where you'll have to pull a lever to shoot, it's the aiming mechanism that needs work if ever. 3rd, a mount, probably like one of those tank mods out there except that it's a ballista and it's stationary. Then there's the matter of quite weak dragon skin, it should be as hard as mithril, but that is another matter. "These arrows cannot pierce its hide. I fear nothing will." Tauriel said. http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/3-25-2015/8qJGQg.gif
  7. You must play a lot of assassin's creed ahaha. Just call it a simple whistle mod. xD However, there is already the taunt shout in the vanilla game.
  8. I mean just think about it, if an arrow hit you on the side armored or not, you would be wincing in pain as you move. Surely, you won't be moving as fast as before. What more with two arrow hits. I mean if a juggernaut orc you shot six times already, and still comes at you at the same running speed, you'd get rekt when he finally catches up to you. I was just thinking of a mod that passively slows movement speed(stacking per arrow) when a target is struck by an arrow. This would provide squishy ranger type characters some advantage for using light armor, and being nimble instead of strong. Like they could highlight the dominance of archer types in long range combat vs melee.
  9. What about creating other secret temples that need to be purified by dawnbreaker as well? (:
  10. Is it possible to make an underwater city, like an Atlantis in Skyrim mod? Not a mere flooded city, but a real live active city encapsulated in an air bubble or something. To be honest, the skyrim seas are hardly used in the game, the game doesn't even allow underwater combat anymore like it did in Oblivion. But think about it could involve some quest deep down, discovering maybe a forgotten or last sanctuary for the dwemers. Where they escaped deep underwater in one big mechanical dome that keeps them alive. Or you could start with some argonians or sailors telling of a myth or legend of a giant sea creature, that's been felling some ships, but turns out to be one big dwarven automaton guarding the entrance to the great underwater city. Originally intended to protect the entrance from outsiders/invaders, but has since gone rogue, and in turn trapped the Dwarves deep underwater instead. Some cool back story if you ask me. Not sure if it'll be lore friendly, but you can't really be lore friendly to a part of the lore that was left untold can you now? So, any thoughts? :D
