  2. i am looking for a mod that alters the skill of armoer and armor so you cant wear every piece because its not your size. any mod that lets you work on armor anytime to improve the quality.

  4. i am trying to install a mod using wyre bash these are the instructions that i got and i followed them but i dont see the mod listed in wyre bash installers. Bain Install ------------ 1. Go to your Bethesda Softworks folder. 2. Go into oblivion mods folder. 3. Go into Bash Installers 4. Place the 7zip archive in it. 5. Start Wrye Bash 6. Click on the Installers Tab. 7. Right click the Companion Mod.7z file and choose install.

Oblivion_XP_v415_-_OMOD-15619 is a really good xp mod that allows you to get xp not only by defeating npc but by doing quest<modded ones to> finding new places and many other things. you cant train skills when you level up you get points to adjust your stats and skills. ANB_Xp_System is another decent xp system that lets you alter skills without leveling but none of the added xp for quest and other gameplay features. you can add stat points you get before leveling from xp and get 3 at level up with the default oblivion leveling screen.
  7. Blade_Skills-9148 adds the short long and two handed blad skills to the game. KEA__SKIL__EXTENDER_ENG_V233-7627 is also a extremly good mod. adds multi skill for blades axes and maces plus many other things like injurys and spells get more powerfull as you cast them.. read up on it theres lots more info on what the mod does to the game. needs obse. if you got obl from direct2drive and want to use obse just get it from steam.
  8. i installed darkui blood mod and after starting game i get a pop up message saying you cant go that way and theres no land and i fall to my death. this hapend to me with lights and chimneys about a few hours ago and i took out all the files using obmr but nothing changed and i had to delete the game. updated. steam has a file check and after it ran i was told that some files were messed up and steam redownloaded them to the data file. i know what i did. i copy all the files from another mod in including the read me. i went to delete the read me but didnt click anything beforehand and the files were still highlighted and out went textures to my recycling bin! :> update 2 having problems again not sure if its darkui blood or the achievement mod. siomething to do with added textures that make the avitar fall and no land. clicked off achievement mod and im fine no clue why its acting up i was playing fine with it before.
  9. i have never made a mod and have no experince in it at all. i havent studdied any files are read up on any topics about moding but im here now with a interesting mod idea that im going to make so any ideas on it to improve it or advice is appreciated and anyone may work on this mod as well just credit me. nothing big or fancy. general concept..idea of mod when in inns...bars a npc says things like how or you blah blah and quest information...rumors. weve read them and seenthem a million times. id like to add that a npc may approach you with random topics that you can reply to from a new topics list<no forced conversations>you may reply to the npcs conversation attempt at anytime if there still in the bar or inn and have not entered conversation with anyone else<if attempted the persons attitude toward you could go down...if npc leaves his-her topic will be cleared from topic list of conversation choices. the conversations could be anything..many random encounters that could end badly or good. the npc will like you more or less from a list of choices selected that makes sense to the current conversation your having. negative postive replys may lower or raise your speechcraft personality skills..stats and how the npc likes you. in time with many conversations you will be judged by... 1 what kind of npc talks to you 2 you are rude or kind personality whys 3 being a good neutral or evil character 4 being a warrior with decent skills and decent armor will offer decent jop topics that will improve in pay while improving skills stats and better armor. fighter seekers will respect you more and offer better jobs. some may still offer shod jobs just be rude and they will get the message to steer clear or offer better jobs...more money. some fighter seekers may even try to pay you less but you can fixs that if you have enough skill to intimadate the npc against whatever minipulation he may have. a npc of 100 speechcraft can talk circles around a dimwitted fighter and you wil get taken advantage of. so its all stats skills vs stats skills that will come into play. if a npc wins over you seriouse consiquences will happen. example a smooth thief comes along and swindles you into conversation<cant ignore based on your skills/stats that come into play vs the npc thief>you may randomly end up in a back alley with your throat cut for little to no reason or being rude. dangerous npc encounters may be a optional feature<1% to 100% chances files>..sometimes you just come across these people and they seek nothing but harm. whould love to add many random dangerous npcs that will engage you in conversations. stats..skills vs stats skills. <a random list of things might happen to you or the npcs based on a 50/50 starting score..maybe 60/40 and so on depending on stats/skills vs stats/skills concept>i know a fighter will take advantage of his strength..endurance plus weapon armor skills and quality but speechcraft and personality<maybe>secondary like minor skills but for a none fighter class they will be major? mixed classes skills could be taken middle whys.<warror will be lower in personality speechcraft and none fighting stats/skills whichever will be the end effecting skills/stats ex...while a mixed class that uses both fighting and spells will be medium across the board? definging what stats skills should effect what and fine tailoring it for themost enjoyable gameplay experince is something im looking foward to the most and like i said any ideas whould be great and any advice on modding the ideas into the mod to. anyone can take this ideas in anyway..just give me some credit..nothing big. be back more later with some slimming and maybe more ideas<more easyable reading of ideas of the mod>pm me anytime i will reply when i can on anything concerning this mod. end note..id love to see and endlist list of random conversation on many topics from hows the day going...city talk...variouse jobs depending on your class..skills and quality of armor. this whould breath so much life into oblivion in my opinon.

  12. i noticed the see you sleep mods but no see you fast travel mods so i had some good ideas and whould like to get some advice on how to import these ideas into the game. 1 see your character travel to any location youve been to.<auto combat if encounterd> 2 might end up going the wrong way and wount stop ontill encounterd in battle where you can take over. 3 maybe take over at anytime if the chatacter is going to throw themselfs off a high hill. less complicated screen starts to load and you might be anywhere. random location spawns besides the one you picked either city or dungeoun.<if encounterd by a npc hostule could be configured..no wolves or mudcraps sroppage>you might be in some crypt surrouned by nycromancers ex. any other ideas whould be great to.
  13. name change from unarmored to endure pain<just sounds better?> im using a unarmored mod now that always has a fixed ac value which i have a better idea for. in the mod if you have 20 ac without armor you will always be proteced with a 20 ac. not even armor is that good when your armor gets damaged the ac value goes down. my idea is a random ac value. lets say your unarmored ac is 15 then you will have a random chance from 1<maybe 0> to 15 protection which will get better as your skill increases. once your a apprentice your ac unarmored value could protect from lets say a 20 ac random whould be 15<10> to 20 which whould be the first master perk for endure pain. master perks for endure pain could be to entirely rule out any pain in your mind randomly and increased speed and strength and not realising the damage done ontill the battle is over with increased skill at enduring pain. when you first get into the area it will be random momments but after awhile you will learn to love the pain and to forget its effect and lose yourself in the momment of battle as the anger of getting hit takes over. after the battle you might drop dead or have grave injurys. maybe a bar could be introduced to the game as you take more and more hits and become angerd the bar will fill and when the energy in the bar is triggerd you forget all pain and your anger takes over<power in the bar could take over at random times and when unskilled will fill very slow>training for this shouldnt be easy one must practice endure pain for awhile before being introduced to the anger meter. then finding the proper teacher?<or maybe you will get the anger meter after apprentice> other paths could be introduced<after a certain ln of skill is reached>other then the anger meter<better name?>that could flesh out endure pain<unarmored> master perks so far 1---anger meter bar...fills as you get hit and randomly triggers to send you into a rage that increases your strength and speed plus character takes to notice of damage while in the effect. bar rises slow at first till you can proberly channel the pain and rage<just dont pull my hair! :> neet ideas 1.0 ac value will be random from maxs to a set number atleast 5 below maxs after apprentice and before apprentice maxs to 0 or 1. a injury mod should work great with this mod as well plus atleast 4 interestings paths after proper skill is made.
