  1. Yes i know it's fanning the hammer and not the trigger. I derped. Just a random idea that popped in my head. I guess this would entail New Vegas as well. How about for revolvers, any revolvers, when in vats the player (or mysterious stranger) a fanning animation is set? This would just mostly go under making it look more interesting, but perhaps it can be made into a perk for the player, when not zoomed in with a revolver the players rate of fire with all revolvers doubles. That's two ways to spin it, Maybe someone made this already for New Vegas? Either way, I know it's not that easy to incorporate somethin' like this, but I feel like it could get a good amount of attention if done.

No I'm not asking for new companions, I already have one I like (Claw) I'm asking for a type of overhaul that changes the way you interact with them, by them I mean vanilla companions built into the game, or, just a mod that adds what I said in general. I've used it before but I don't have it anymore.
  4. Like say I go to Megaton. I speak to a follower, there's a new dialogue option that's a long the lines of "Let's talk about where you live" or something like that. one option in that is "This is your home now." and it sets that cell (like megaton) as their place. You can tell them at any point to "go home" and they'll be there waiting for you. I don't see how that's 99% of mods, most companion mods I find are just slutty girls.

Hi, I'm trying to find the companion mod that allows me to set their "home" through a new dialogue option, the mod had a bit more than that of course (telling the companion to either use melee or a gun being another) I cannot for the life of me find this. It's a popular one however the search queries I've made come up with 0 results.
  6. It had 3/4 stories to it. Had a statue of Liberty Prime in it, a motorcycle (for some reason) chemist set, first aid station, a real fancy bed, and in the basement a bunch of labeled weapons lockers (and a bathtub :D) Also had a very well done balcony with chairs. I tries searching and I couldn't find this one, i loved using it on my last run, I'm on a new computer so I need to find the mods i liked to use again, as well as some new ones. Help would be appreciated~ Also, is there a mod that adds new weapons to find across the wasteland? Kinda like Supplementary Uniques for New Vegas.
  7. Oh hey I actually figured out a working method! Figures after I post the thread, at least others can just find this if they are also having trouble. I didn't think it would work, but I just entered movetoqt to move to the area where joshua and SNW were. Talked to SNW, then Joshua. Maybe this is like your solution, Weasel, im not sure what I would miss out on in the story if this is the same fix.
  8. If you can find that command it would be much appreciated, it would still be better than killing joshua if a solution is not found.
  9. Edit: Fixed. I didn't think it would work, but I just entered movetoqt to move to the area where joshua and SNW were. Talked to SNW, then Joshua. I've searched and others have problems with this quest but no solution found for the problem i am having with it. Once I reach Joshua at the end he just stands there aiming his pistol at one of the white legs. I can't talk to him, move and nothing happens. Currently, I have two unsatisfactory options if a fix is impossible: -kill Joshua via command which allows me to move but of course makes all sorrows and dead horses hostile (maybe making return to the Mojave impossible) -do the setstage 02008a36 (at least I think that's what it was) which completes the quest and gives me the XP, but still does not let me move or even starts the next quest that's supposed to start. Help is appreciated. I have a couple saves before it, i've attempted 5 times and even tried entering a different cell (the cavern) and it has not resolved the issue. I have the unofficial patch and the only mod that affects Honest Hearts is the Supplementary Uniques mod (which just adds weapons, bullet types and respective mods to the wasteland and DLC areas).
  10. (Resolved) <Turns out all you need to do to fix this is reset the quest. Talk and go through the dialogue for it again and it worked.> I'm having a big issue finishing the side bets quest. I killed house and have yes man uploaded to the 38. However, when I go to him to finish Side Bets after doing everything optional and required in the quest, I only have the option to talk about the tribes I should talk to or say goodbye. The quest cannot be finished. I know why, Old School Ghoul was bugged for me so i did the command to "meet" Ranger Andy again, therefore so Raul will engage in the respective dialogue so i can finish his quest. Unfortunately, this has a (unreported?) side effect of resetting every NPC's dialogue I've met. Normally this just means I have to go through the dialogue again so its no problem, but I fear it's made it so yes man always thinks i have more to do wit Side Bets. I tried to fix this by finishing the side bets quest via command "complete quest <ID>" But his dialogue is still the same when I go back to him, nothing new. I then looked it up and the Finishing Touches quest involves going to the el dorado substation, i did, but no option on the terminal to do anything, I must have the quest started first. I cannot find a way to start this quest. I haven't seen any commands to start quests manually. I have a back up save before I killed mister house, but I don't want to resort to that and it might still be bugged anyway. Can I please get some help here? Other: -Ceaser Killed -For the Republic quests finished -All tribes dealt with/ignored -going for independent vegas
  11. I'm trying to make a merged patch with the addition of the Alton IL mod. When I run FO3Edit, the last thing it processes is in error, saying it's trying to load FO3 Wanderers Edition but could not find the file. I never downloaded Wanderers Edition, so why is it looking for it? Until it can "find" it, I cannot make a master patch. I'm going to try to download wanderers edition but not enable it (Im not interested in the overhaul) see if that fixes it. If this is a known error, a solution would be helpful, thanks. Resolved: False alarm. The powerarmor patch for Alton was bugged. Disabled it and it works fine now.

  13. Im somewhat new to the forums here, hello! I don't believe this has specifically been discussed, I searched the FO3 nexus for anything related to lincolns repeater, nothing on adding scopes. I'm not looking for an out of place ACOG or modern sniper scope, but rather a vintage telescope style piece that would fit the era and the weapons appearance. I thought it would be nice to give the Lincoln's a scope to help it seperate it from the Backwater Rifle, and giving an alternate advantage (scopevshigh crits). Specifically, I'm thinking of the Vintage Rifle from Timesplitters 2 (Great game!), which I do believe was also a type of Henry's Repeater.
