  1. Well... is not that someone was going to do any of these requests, but I just decided that 190 mods without being able to combine them (Wrye Bash does not work by any freakin' chance) are more than enough.

I'll forget about any of these as long as I learn how to transfer them myself and to be able to make Skyrim work better than it is now (it runs for approximately 6 minutes, then crashes).

    Sayonara!

  2. Cool.

Well, let's hope that is useful for some of the modders or just the people who wanna try doing some new weapons.

In my case I just tried to do some steps, but well... I just came to the conclusion that I'm still a noob. Give me some time ;)

  3. Sorry, Garcardo. You're right.

Apart from the rest of the mods that had been named already by some of us, the rest do not show up. So at least, I was not able to find any more.

At least there are some good news: I'm starting to edit some features from mods myself. Unfortunately as I'm not that talented I'm doing modifications to mods that were already created by other users (no worries... I'm not planning to take credit for any of the mods it's just practicing).

As for these mods I named at the beginning I won't lose faith. Maybe someone is gonna be inspired and create any of these mods for Skyrim. Meanwhile, I'll keep practicing :)

EDIT: one thing I forgot to mention before is that whenever you search through Google is that many of these sets were previously asked for, but separately. What is weirder is that only a handful of them were ported (I saw some sketches for the Soul Calibur III Ivy armor that was pretty cool even though it never saw the light).

  4. Probably many users and modders know about this page, but well... It may be useful for those looking for an 'inspiration' when it comes to develop weapons or armors.

Give it a shot. Maybe you can find something to start some ideas for some new project.

    Medieval Stuff

  5. Thanx, buddy!

Another one bites the dust (as Freddie would've said) :P

Didn't see that one even though I searched for every piece of armor in here and through google (I was able to find some packs, but copyrights are a matter and I don't want to mess around with things that can get me into trouble).

  6. I've realised that, even some armors might not be 'matching' to Skyrim style because it's more 'nordic' than 'european medieval', there are tons of armors based on that style here on the Nexus and even some other forums or webpages.

In fact, this week I was able to find all Dragon Age II armor sets and Final Fantasy XII-2 armor sets. So you can imagine that if some armors as difficult as those can be transferred these too.

  7. mmmm... never thought about that, GoodFellow. I think you are mostly right because the Skyrim style does not match with knightly terms. However I'd like to see those armors not only to have a bigger variety and to wear them, but to add those directly to leveled lists and also have some diversity on enemies.

Is not that the game would change completely, but it'd make it look even better than it is.

For example: something that I've done so far is to add all the armor sets from different games like Lich King's Armor, War's armor, Ezio's armor, etc.

I don't use them all at the same time, but some enemies do wear them or just the companions that I have. Also, as I have the Dovahkiin's hideout mod, I like to have all the armors on the mannequins and pretend I 'defeated' those warriors, taking their belongings with me (yeah... kinda stupid if you ask me).

  8. Chest and hood, are exactly the same as nightingale armor. Only gauntlets seem a lil bit different. Maybe if you mix them, you can get what you want.

If you fiddle around a bit, I'm mostly sure you can get it yourself ;)

  9. What about Kain Highwind and Cecil Harvey from FFIV?

They had one of the best sets of armors I've seen on the FF sagas.

These are some pictures of them:

Kain Highwind (the best pictures I could get... sorry):

I know the images are not the best thing you can ask, but well... is something at least.

  10. Well... I didn't know that, Squizzo. Thanx for the info ;)

I'll try to get them and fiddle a lil bit with it and see what comes out of it.

I was just asking for these as they are already made and maybe it's easier than doing them from scratch.

Guess that I still need to learn a lot :P

  11. Well... it's good to see that at least some people do agree with me :)

If any of the expert modders decide to transfer any of these armors to Skyrim, I'll be more than pleased.

If not, well... I'll have to learn myself how to edit them with CK in order to use them.

  12. @insanityman

I didn't see that one... Mostly skipped it for not searching beforehand. Thanx for the heads up! ;)

    @Squizzo

I do have the Dread Knight Weapons and the Lich King Armour, but well... I was pointing to the other sets too. They're pretty neat, to be honest (specially the Dread Knight armor to match with the set)

If any of you know about any way to 'transform' sets and armors from Oblivion to Skyrim tell me. I'll try to edit them myself (even though I'm not that good with editing tools at the moment  )

  13. Hi, guys!

I know that I've been asking a lot to do lately, but well... I'm still trying to get to know how to create my own stuff and to be honest I'm pretty bad.

I hope that some of these armors/mods could be transferred to Skyrim as they are really really good.

Plz, modders: if you have the chance, try to make them ;)

These are the links for each one of them. Mostly sure you know them all...

    Drake Knight Armor

    Morrigan Armor Set

    Thunderbird and Dawn Armors

    Underworld Armor

Dread Knight Armor and weapons (must be there for sure!)

    Ivy Armor

    Lost Paladins Of the Divine

tdas Armoury Beta (some really good models)

    Knightly Armory

    Berserk Armor

    Nightshade Armor

    Thanx so much in advance!

  14. Yeah, Nimbus... I was trying sort of something similar, but it doesn't work as much as I wanted.

I even tried to edit the helmet myself with some tools, but it was a disaster.

Maybe some of the modders can do it. It's not a complete retex o change of the mod per se. It's mainly a modification of what already exists, let's say.

  15. Hi, guys

A few days ago as I was playing Skyrim and I grabbed my Lich King's Armor to go and kill some time (and some bandits too =P) I realized of one thing I haven't paid attention up to now: its helmet.

Doing some research I found that the original helmet that the Lich King uses had some blue-sparkling eyes and this one didn't. To be more precise, I'll show you a set of pictures:

This one is the helmet that comes with the armor created by jojjo:

    http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/12652-1-1334237212.jpg

Helmet's great and has a really nice touch, but shows up to be really 'common' to be honest. It's not much than a regular helmet.

This would be the one that the Lich King uses on WoW:

Even though the whole armor is great, it loses its feeling of making you look like the real Lich King as it doesn't look that 'menacing'.

The idea is basically add some black background to the helmet so the face of Dovahkiin cannot be seen and add blue sparks to its eyes (like the ones on the daedric armor, for example) in order to make it look more similar to the original one.

If someone knows how to do it (and if it's possible obviously), I'd really appreciate it. I'd do it myself, but I lack the tools (CK is crashing all the time and I need to redownload every time it fails) and I do stink when it comes to edit images with Photoshop to give a brief example.

Thanx in advance to answers and ideas!

  16. Hi, guys!

Since I began playing Skyrim I installed several (and almost EVERY) weapon mods there are for adding new weaponry and armors to the game, but still even though I can forge every one of the new ones I realize enemies only use those ones that are standard to the game or just some of them.

Example: I have Weapons of the Third Era and Armory of Tamriel installed and many enemies do use those blades, axes, an so on; but when it comes to Malos Weapons or Jaysus Swords, they don't carry any of them.

As for armors, that doesn't happen that often as many of the mods I applied are just retextures and not an addition of new sets per se.

So, question is: is there any chance that I can edit registries and variables so the game can apply any sword to any enemy randomly? If that so: how and what do I need to do?

Apart from that, I suppose it's good to start learning how to mod the game so I can do some work for the everyone to use.

Thanx in advance for the help!
