Can't get passed recruitment.

Mod manager is latest version from nexus.Deleted other versions and reinstalled latest.It crashes with all races.It crashes from origin story. Downloaded game from steam.Its been so long since mod manager has worked I dont remember what I have.If I get manager to work I will deactivate mods.When I started Awakenings it works fine. -
Everytime I try to play game it crashes after I'm recruited.Can't load mod manager.

Mod Manager wouldnt load,deleted old version,loaded new version,still wont load.Stuck on icon and only way to get out is toturn off computer.

When game stops message comes up game has stopped working,Windows will shut it down and look for problem.What has windows have to do with it?
