  1. So I am really wanting to make small personal mods (specifically a player home mod currently, as modular mods for player homes are not really prevalent), at least to start. I am perfectly happy with only using vanilla assets or assets that are meant for mod authors. However, my main issue is my desire to play, and create, in unison. By this I mean I do not want to be experimenting, and potentially balls up my installation where I cannot play like I normally would, modded of course. However, I am currently limited by storage space, so my 'usual' methods of versioning and separation are not very practical. Does anyone have any advice on the best practices for this? Also I am looking for any guides/documentation for SE that follow processes on a beginner level for player homes. While not my main focus here, they would not be unwelcome.
  2. That is what was posted. It was in the maintanence windo, but I compared the two and they show identical information. There were no other logs that were errors that were generated at that time.
  3. This is all it says even in the maintenance panel. It said the exact same thing in the event viewer as well. It also is not actually quicksave it seems, as it occurs anytime I save AFTER I level up, since I am close enough that I kill one thing and I can level up. So once I exit the pip boy and it autosaves, then the game crashes.
  4. I am looking for it and cannot seem to locate it. Let me try to launch it again to see if anything new pops up this time.
  5. Do you mean the Windows Event Viewer or something in the Fallout folder I cannot find?
  6. I still don't know how to fix this issue, so I am still looking for answers.
  7. This is the first issue I have had with them, and I know what the issue is just not how to fix it. I installed the South of the sea AWCKR patch and then the issues started happening.
  8. When I first load my current Fallout 4 save everything is fine. When I try to quicksave once the game freezes the crashes. However if I die before I quicksave, the game will stay open and appear to load fine. But it never does load, and never crashes. My load order is enclosed in the spoiler below:
  9. While I would like to read the OP, it definitely needs formatting, cause my eyes hurt tying to.
  10. I would prefer to stay away from characters for now, but other than that. No preference really.
  11. So I want to make a Skyrim mod, but have no idea how. I found some good tutorials (I think) but would rather just use my modelling skills to help instead. Anyone need someone who's alright, not great, and has a less than awful ability to texture? I know it's not much but I have to start somewhere right? ALSO: I cannot do characters, simply because I left my Wacom at home (at Uni two hours away) and do not own ZBrush. I can try in Maya (but I have a student version for now) but I need some money first. Sorry for all the restrictions in advance. If you are still interested however, please add me on Steam at fluffinator09, or add me on Discord at fluffinator09#2319, AND post on this thread. Thank you!
  12. Hello all! I am fluffinator09, and I am on a search for a texture artist who can create, modify and paint textures/UVs on models I create! Right now my GECK buddy(ies) are out of commission so I am currently just using the knowledge I have so far gained in school to model out an FN Ballista Sniper Rifle. This will be put into a small, gun only mod, while I wait for them to come back online. But turns out my texture creation skills are, well, lackluster at best. TL;DR: I am creating a small mod team of myself (a learning modeler), two GECKsperts (heh) and a texture artist! If you are interested please post here or shoot me a PM. Please note I am not currently very good but I need some experience and I love Fallout 4, so what better way than to do it via making some mods!
