Isn't Vortex still in a limited alpha? The only links I can find are update links for people who are in the test group?

So my current game has became a cumbersome buggy mess so am going to wipe everything and start again fresh. What mods would you all say are must have, or especially good for changing things up a bit. Also as i'm likely going to want to install far more mods than the limit allows are most smaller mods able to be converted over to the new esl format, or would I mess things up doing that? So far my current list is as follows: Any advise about the load order will be appreciated, so far its just use loot and a bit of common sense and a whole load of luck xD Also is it worth me trying the new vortex mod loader or should I stick to NMM for the time being?

I've been playing my game for months without issue, and have been using the vivid texture replaces and the grasslands mod for months without any issues at all. However last night my game crashed, upon starting it up again I've suddenly got the shimmering grass bug that lots of people ware getting. Nothing i can do will fix it, I've tried swapping my settings files out with recent backups, uninstalling my texture mods, and reinstalling them. Even tried the fix people ware using by forcing fxaa on enhance mode via the nvidia control panel, but that just made it even worse :s I'm really unsure on what to do now as my game is unplayable :s as it only shimmers as i move i cant capture it with pictures and oddly the nvidia game recording stuff doest show the shimmer at all in anything it records :?

For a long time ive had SMH in my game but never used it so figured id remove it to free space up for more mods, i used the uninstall tool it came with to remove the menus and everything, yet as soon as i load my game after removing it my whole game will ctd if i change the power of lights in any of my settlements. New games work fine but I'm far to invested in this save to start again, does anyone have any idea on what might be causing this?

I seem to have an odd problem with the neon Nuka-Cola signs. Instead of only making a fiz sound when they light up the sound will keep playing at faster and faster intervals in till i can only hear a constant fizzzzzzzzzzzz also they get quite loud and can be heard across most levels they are on. My game also seems to lag quite a bit when i am around them. I am playing the UK version patched to 1.7 (i am pretty sure i did not have this problem with 1.6) with all of the DLC packs, also before you ask my game and add-ons are legit. I am running a lot of mods however none of them add new sound files for the sign so i don't think its any of them (i checked my sound folder to be sure). Any ideas on what could cause this would be helpful :D Thanks :)
