  1. Just an idea but... It is, theoretically, possible to be both lore friendly and have conflicting styles. Quite appropriately (considering the nature of this mod proposal), Sanguine by lore has tons of realms, so if this world space was supposed to represent one of those it *might* work.
  2. Agree with mareboro...Okay, I can't conjure up a bed, but why can't I slip the guard a bottle of mead when they want one?
  3. If we go by the pre-established timeline of history on UESP, we can get a very rough estimate of ~4,500 years spent underground, 700 of which being purposefully poisoned by the Dwemer. Granted, there aren't many specifics on exactly when in the Late Merethic era the Nords took Skyrim from the snow elves, so the counted is simply started from the 1st Era.
  4. Me thinks someone hasn't met Vex (the thieves guild blonde) is hardly an offender in comparison, and is voiced by Kari Wahlgren; a rather popular voice actress. You're entitled to your opinion, but I don't blame Bethesda for hiring someone who has her professional pedigree.
  5. Agree that Karthspire is an interesting location that has potential. There are quite a few people who seem interested in fort/castle/town ownership mods, like http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/461698-own-a-castlefort so it might be possible to work with some of them.
  6. If the fear is that any dragon could cause the resurrection of Alduin; why let Odahviing, a dragon who was much more recently allied with Alduin, continue to live while demanding the death of Paarthurnax who was instrumental in the rebellion against Alduin the first time round, and has been pretty much minding his own business for years?
  7. One could also argue that such hubris laden statements would be characteristic of an "immortal" being that has practically lived in seclusion since his glory days. Considering how well dragons fared after Alduin disappeared, e.g. becoming almost extinct; it seems unlikely that they would succeed again in enslaving the world. This isn't to say that some might not try, but it was already established that Alduin was significantly more difficult to remove from the mortal plane than other dragons, even (for some reason) his younger brother Paarthurnax.
  8. I don't know about anyone else, but one of the things that really bothers me about the Blades quest line, and trying to mesh any extension of such with existing lore is: it just highlights how thick the retcon was slathered on. Is there, in any other previous game, any mention anywhere of dragons enslaving mortals? If I'm wrong, I'd love it for someone to fill me in... Is the demand for Parthurnaxxs death some sort of displaced rage against the Thalmor? Otherwise, it's kinda impressive to hold such a MASSIVE grudge for something that had to have happened so very long ago that the majority of the continent forgot, and in lieu of events that played out prior... Nope, sorry, just feels like a cheap ploy to tug at the players feelings of loyalty.
