Hmmmm, interesting. It confuses me why anyone would play in third person anyway.

Is there something that you're not saying about your game? Because, if I just started a brand new character that only had 50 magica, I'd be starting yet another brand new one before starting in on console cheats. Also, it was quite a while in my game before I ended up at High Hrothgar. I don't just start a brand new game, and pop up at that place. Also, if I thought praying to an alter might help, I'd be looking to see if I had a disease first. Something just isn't adding up.

You know, I was just going to make my own thread, but this one seems very appropriate. DRAGONS SCHMAGONS or MORALS SHMORALS I was just clearing out some mine, when I realized that I'm no better than the bandits I'm killing. Sure, they attack first without making any kind of moral judgement on whether or not I should die, but what am I doing in the first place? Yeah, OK, so I'm the dragon born. Whoopty Doo. I'm supposed to save the land. But what are the means? Much like the bandits, which I have absolutely no reservations in ridding the face of the land of, I'm out there trying to find as much treasures I can pawn off, and a few that are just nifty enough to keep. OK, so I live by a code. I don't kill wabbits. I don't kill foxes. I don't kill anything or anyone that doesn't attack me first. But I'm still running around like a thief in the night to make my journey to the end a little easier. Bandits? Really, they are nothing more than ants to me. Occasionally they are accompanied by one worthy of a challenge, but I certainly kill hundreds more of them to a single death of mine. I have some thinking to do about who I really am.

Let me get this straight. It appears that you orchestrated her death. Is this correct? Also, how come I don't see your name anywhere? Doesn't our user names get attached to snapshots we upload? Never mind, I just looked again, and I did see your name. How did you make this happen?

This information might be useful to you. Benefits of Home-Owning Owning a house comes with several benefits. You must be approved by the local Jarl of each major city, then a home can be purchased and decorated by the Steward. 1. Each house includes non-respawning containers where items can be safely stored. 2. Sleeping in a bed you own gives a temporary boost to your Health and Magicka. 3. If married, your spouse will wait for you in your house. 4. There is no limit to the amount of houses you can own. I'm assuming that number 1 means that if you leave your junk lying around, it will eventually re-spawn to where it came from. It's good to see that you can see my point. I can see it now. I wouldn't know about that, but I have a question for you in return. What do you plan on doing with all that hard earned gold?

Hey, I've got a question, that maybe someone can answer. I doubt it though, but I'll ask anyway. Why does the game cost the same on steam as it does in the store? What's my incentive for downloading a game when it cost the same? What's the incentive for choosing to have a volatile, inferior copy when I can buy a professionally produced DVD? Let's face it, sure I can back it up on a RECORDABLE DVD. Understand what I'm saying here? If not, then I'm saying that DVD's that you burn yourself are of a very low quality. Everyone knows that they don't last as long, and they scratch from a mere touch. Besides the quality, I am responsible for making sure that I have a good copy put aside. So, why shouldn't I go to the store and buy it if I don't get a discount? I've often thought the same about itunes. Really, downloading content should be cheaper than buying hard copies.

Oh, Palasilva, I understand. I told her to stay, while I toyed with a weary dragon, like a cat and mouse game. She had to rush in for the final blow with her arrow anyway. It pissed me off, so I shouted her to death. Boy, was I mad. Yet, I feel a sense of loss now that she's gone by the hand of a Draugr Scourge, instead of my own. She was always jealous of my Flame Altronach. Gave me dirty looks every time I summoned it.

Lydia was old and in the way. Well, maybe not so old, but always in the way. She fought valiantly along side of my fire *censored*, when I couldn't be bothered to. She always told me that she'd carry my burdens, even if it meant her death. She never scaled a mountain, but somehow always ended up by my side. All things must come to an end. Well, this whole thread is a spoiler. Before anyone says, "you didn't have to open it", the title was a spoiler. This thread does not belong here. Don't people know that there is a whole forum for these threads? It's called "Skyrim Spoilers". I don't get it, they give people a place to post this stuff, yet people still want to use the spoiler free forum for them.

Well then, allow me to date myself a bit further. I played Leisure Suit Larry 1 on my brand new 8088 with a full 128k of ram., off of a floppy because I didn't have a hard drive. State of the art, with a nice looking green screen. I bought every new release of LSL that came out. I also played Sierra's Police Quest, Conquests Of Camelot, and a whole slew of other games from the olden days. I was a hardcore gamer. Games were plentiful, and good. You can't compare anymore. You can't say a game from 1990 sucks, if all you lived with is these modern hardware models. I remember conquering Camelot in about 5 hours one afternoon. I just couldn't stop until I was finished.

Hey! I never killed nobody's friend. Who didn't die along with them. Besides, none of my kills were murder. Self defense. Every single one of them. Now thieving, that's a different story. Once in a while, when the mark is an ass, or idiot.

Atreyuu, thanks for the forumer quest. I didn't even know about this cave until you mentioned it. I considered it an extra credit quest given by you, for me to find it. So, I did. I see someone posted another vid about it. It's a myth that there's good stuff in there. I didn't find anything of real value. A couple of books, though. I've added perk points.

I'll keep him alive then. Thanks. But, one day, he's dead for sure. OK, so I lifted off something from him. But what does he do? He keeps quite about it so he can send thugs after me to teach me a lesson. Of course, these thugs would have killed me if they could. That pisses me off, and I want him dead eventually.

Yeah, that's what I figured you were trying to do. But, holy moly. You're 75 and playing computer games? I have a secret to tell you. Well, not so much of a secret, but I'm 44 and about to turn 45. Now, you were about 20 when I was born in 67. Sounds to me like you might have been into the great music that I love from that period. HOWEVER, I still look at older folks listing to Lawrence Welk or the likes. No matter how much older I get, I just can't see the people older than me as 60's children who like cool music. It just doesn't add up in my head.

I looked into the Skimpy Dragonscale armor, as you mentioned it in your first post. I didn't see any readme file, but it's pretty self explanatory to me. With my limited knowledge of Skyrim, and my current experience, this is the conclusion I've come to. You wont find it in any store that doesn't sell Dragonscale armor to begin with. What it does, is replace the current dragon scale armor with a new skimpy style. If you come upon someone who's wearing it, the skimpy version is what you'll see. If someone happens to give you Dragonscale Armor as a gift, you'll get the skimpy version. Of course, this only applies to female characters. Also, it's all contingent on whether or not you put these new files in the correct directory. I'll assume you did. I'm also guessing now that what I've just said will apply to all of the things you've downloaded. After putting these files in the directories, did you even find the items that you downloaded in original form? If you did, then you didn't put the files in the right place. If you didn't, then that would explain it. They don't just appear because you added textures to you installation. In summary, you didn't download new armor. You downloaded textures. You have to find the armor in the first place to see it. I highly doubt you'll find dragonscale armor in any old shop. It sounds like a pretty neat specialty item to me.

Perhaps I shouldn't, but I still took offence of your statement. "Dutch sounding" equals blandness and makes characters sound like "soild snake"? :( I know I shouldn't have to come to anyone's defense, as they can take care of themselves, but how did you come to this stretch of a conclusion? You're taking your offense to the point of not even realizing what had been said. It almost makes you seem like you wanted to be offended, just so you can say you were. He said, MOST of the characters sound Dutch, which makes them sound the same. Then he goes on to saying, ONE of the characters sounds like Solid Snake, which makes that particular character annoying. Now, what is offensive here?
