Hello i build a gun, all works except the muzzle flash (looks like the projectiles are invisibles), so how to add (or fix) the muzzle flash to a new gun?

Try play without HUD, go in option, display and put the hud opacity at 0. the gameplay will look like this

There are a lot of tutorial about the creation kit on youtube (you can also use skyrim tutorials). Its more simple then you think, simple watch the tutorials of this channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geYmVccPtXk

To do this type of things first learn "hello world" about scripting. When you learn how to script, learn papyrus (its used to script for fallout) you also need 3ds max to do animation and this file http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16694/? If this help, give me a kudos

Thx for the info! :smile: If you want to do a weapon or armor without using vanilla assets (actual piece of armor, weapons, things of the game) you need programs like blender or 3ds to do the meshes. About the texture there is also substance painter 2, its a really good program for texture.

Worst case scenario is a lawsuit if you don't have the explicit authorization from the game developer to use/port (without restriction) the assets of that game in fallout or other games.

Try to do this.... Export the blender file in .obj, put it in outfit studio and export as .nif, convert the nif using elrich.exe to make it fo4 friendly.

Well.... My skill in nifskope is actually 0% but i see all (yes all) the videos on youtube about it.... I simple open this topic with the hope that someone that know (very well) how to use nifskope simple give me answers about were i can found a complete guide about nifskope, so i can learn all the utility. For example, you can also do animation in nifskope, and all this tutorials are nothing more than very little piece of an incomplete puzzle. I try to explain the point better... Normally a software comes with complete istruction or someone explain how it works... Also Millenia has searched someone who can put meshes into the game because there is an incredibly lack of info about how to understand what you can do with nifskope and especially how to do it. Im really sorry to say... that all the video that i found... give more questions than answer. -

The .obj export of nifskope is broken as what developers of nifskope say. Also the tutorial of gaambsmoore is very old and he is creating a sword not a gun. The gun has multiple parts, the sword he converted only one and it is a replace of the existing vanilla.
