I have the following warning in Vortex: "Some of the enabled plugins depend on others that are not enabled: Survival Mode - 1nivWICCloaks_COS_CCOR_patch.esp depend on Cloaks_CCOR_patch.esp" I don't understand. I have both of these mods enabled and auto-sorted by LOOT: #77 Survival Mode - Cloaks_CCOR_Patch.esp #76 Survival Mode - 1nivWICCloaks_COS_CCOR_Patch.esp Forcing a rule that reverses #77 and #76 does not remove the warning. Like, what does it want? The dependency is enabled in the Mod and LOOT sort sections. Further, my game seems to run fine despite this warning. Thanks.

After going through my mods, and updating them, it appears the game is running smoothly with the latest Skyrim SE version. This has allowed me to recover my saved game - so far so good. Thank you again for your recommendations.

Yup, the Unofficial patch says it is only compatible with the newest Skyrim version. So I either need to update all my mods to the newest version or somehow get the older Unofficial patch version.

I think it is too complex for me to sort this. Looks like I've lost months of game time, and it's not great. Can anyone suggest a place / forum where maybe I can attempt to either: (1) Learn how to read the skse64.log files and determine the crash reason. (2) Extract my character data / all the quest advancement from a save file and port it into a repaired version of skyrim? Thanks!

I'm still chasing this and considering it's a mod patch. Some mods don't seem to have old versions, but clearly my mod manager had an older version before. For example, it appears that I somehow patched the Unofficial Skyrim patch from 4.3.0a to 4.3.2. But If I go to versions in Vortex, it shows earlier versions before 4.3.2, but not 4.3.0a. Well clearly I had 4.3.0a installed or it wouldn't say in the history "Revert to 4.3.0a". So are all versions in the Vortex folder? I note that if you simply click "Revert to 4.3.0a" this appears to just change the label in the mod list, it doesn't actually do anything like reapplying/deploying the mod. Which is not useful.

This is strange. So I think I found my old game version, but now SKSE is saying its the wrong version. There must be a way to make all your mods, SKSE, and game file all the same version. This is clearly a problem, why not just list the compatible game versions with everything in Vortex?

I set Steam to never update Skyrim unless I tell it to. Well, it updated it anyway, because of course it did. My game is now broken, crashes immediately to desktop. I would like to find out the latest version of Skyrim that any of my mods can handle so I can find the correct version to role it back to. How would I go about this? Is there a setting in Vortex that can be turned on to show the compatible game version for each mod?

So my archery kill shot animation fails to work - but not all the time. What happens? I shoot something that I will clearly one-shot (goat), the animation plays showing the shot but then stops before reaching the kill, goes back to my first person view and the arrow literally just disappears. When does it happen? Not all the time. It appears to happen when I'm not on the same vertical level as the kill. Why "again"? I found posts on help forums from 7-10 years ago reporting the same problem, but the solutions were not clear. Usually it's " you have a mod conflict", some suggested Sounds of Skyrim. Ok, but if this was a known problem 7 years ago one would hope it would have been fixed? Is there a quick fix? I'm not super wedded to archery kill shots, is there a mod that lets you turn off the kill animations completely (so it never triggers - just stopping the animation may not fix my arrows disappearing), but selectively to only turn off archery so I can keep the hand-to-hand animations on? Looks like it was a problem with the Nexus server - now back on NMM and though I'm still getting a lot of retries, it is more on the order of a minute than 20 minutes (with some errors - ie no connections).

Aha, I tried restarting NMM altogether and now it claims it can't reach the Nexus server. So their server must be down, because I can load lots of other websites. Sucks for me, I was attempting to get my modding done tonight.

I am having difficulty with mod downlaoding using NMM. The manager was going at fairly slow speeds, so I upgraded to premium. Ok, when NMM connects with preium the speed is much faster. However, for most of my download attempts NMM just keeps searching different servers over and over again, I'm wating ~20 minutes just to start one download because it keeps retrying and retrying... What is going on? Is everyone in the developed world snowed in and attempting to download skyrim mods? Is DERP attacking every file-sharing server in the world? I've done lots of downloading of mods for Oblivion and never had this problem. Speedtest says my upload is 14 Mbps and download is 6 Mbps, so I don't think it is me. Is anyone else encountering this?
