You guys should really have a section on this program. It comes with native emulation of any soundchip you could want (plus VST support for the really arcane). Its basically a freeware alternative to FLStudio (another major one that should be on here) and despite 'Linux' in its name, its available on all platforms. If you're looking for something to compose music for a project, definitely give it a look, just beware the learning curve.
