  1. Thanks YaraC! The topic, although quite descouraging, is full of useful information.
  2. Having grown used to Inquisition's thin yet tall elves, going back to playing a child sized hero felt odd. Since no one seemed to be willing to do the (huge amount of) work which scaling up every elf related mesh out there involved, and having a bit of spare time, I decided to get my hands dirty myself. I have surely bit off more than I can chew, but my main problem is that I still haven't found the "best" way to approach the problem: scaling the meshes in DAtool and then changing only the head and hair in gmax seems to be the fastest way to do it, but DAtool won't let me import meshes, so that would stump mod support. On the other hand the "uniform scale" function of gmax does not scale the mesh and skeleton with the same proportions (so the bigger mesh no longer fits on the bigger skeleton the same way it did when they were both small), and going at it manually seems like a risk when it comes to making armor parts fit with each other. My question is: if you were to approach the problem yourselves, how would you do it? With which tools? Help me nexusforums users, you're my only hope.
  3. If I recall correctly armor identical to that one is available in one of DA2's DLC packs. Porting the armor from DA2 to DA:O is simpler than porting it from DAI. I would try my hand at it myself but I sadly don't have a copy of DA2 for pc any longer.
