I too had a major problem with the 1.3.47 patch. I found a link that reverts the game to previous updates but you will have to play Steam offline or make your FO4 folder read only otherwise it will just automatically update again. The link is http://www.speedrun.com/Fallout_4/thread/fvo80. The author is Dalet. My CTD was went I went into certain cells not a CTD upon loading and I have finished the main story line. As a bonus it also fixed certain corrupted textures. Hope this works for you.
