  1. With the morrowind disaster lots of us dumeri find refuge in friendly foriegn lands. We need the empire to keep the local us-only thugs under control. How about a little questline to gather the local dunmer together to clear out some bandit/falmer caves and settle new 'towns' in them? Essentially I want a mod to make a new town, decide it's designs and equipment depending on what's available and defend against invaders.. which there would be many different types regardless of what group formed the new town. Thoughts?
  2. After recently playing with the Fortify Restoration potion thing my character is pretty deadric. Nothing makes my health bar appear, the other bars seem infinite and my potions are all ridiculous. One side effect is that enemies back away sooner and sometimes dont attack. If I leave my companion at home I can walk through a dungeon using fear and calm to 'peace' my way through. Though having illusion at 100 with the high level perks helps.. a mundane way of fearing someone out of the region would be nice :D
  3. There will be a lot of vampire mods flying around. Personally I like the idea that the powers come from the hunger, it's a nice reverse that kinda fits with it being a desease with feeding being a temporary therapy. Feeding could be done a bit like soul trap or the decapitation event. Killing with your bare hands could trigger the feed-kill giving you a smaller boost than a sleeping person. Though a companion that knows about your vampirism would be interesting. Maybe Cattle could be added to the world. useless little mortals to snack on during adventures.
  4. I agree! I spent my vampire time Pacifying crowds just to talk to individuals. A more permenant Calm spell like Trust would be good. Then a more advanced version of Trust to make thier faction friendlier to you (dunno how stable that kinda stuff is) and another to make an npc into a companion. I would like another kind of spell for the heavily vampiric, a Bound Cloak of Anonimity. A full body + helmet item that hides your nature and lets you talk to people. A complete disconnection of the player-faction would be fun, but I imagine that would kill all of the conversation options :P
  5. With simple Salt and Small Antlers any peice of enchated clothing can accelerate you beyond any perk per level ratio ;D
  6. Haha, or a mode where you start as the dragonborn's wife. A hardcore blacksmith/enchanter with mara's necklace and the warmaiden's shop as a home. The hero goes off on the scheduled quests and pops back with loot, gear, food and a little gold. You can go with him on the quest or make him some better gear so he comes back alive. Depending on the player this could divide the main quest in half if the player knew how to trigger the next quest (maybe talk about it when the dragonborn gets home) or cut out the quest entirely leaving the player free to sidequest and still get the loot left at home. When the creation kit arrives a few tweaks could change skyrim. Adrienna says she informs the jarl etc. Perhaps that's your job now.. and perhaps the civil war will kick off without the dragonborn's input and you need to equip the troops. Blacksmithing is a bit limited to focus the game around at the moment, but a mix of that and RTS-style prep-and-fight quests could be fun.
  7. I agree. There are a few things in the game already if you want to play around. A mage focusing on Illusion can be funny, calming and fearing enemies and convincing them to rage on each other etc. Still gives the evil feel though, what it sounds like your after is a merciful way out. A restoration equivalent of calm would be handy, if an emeny is low on health it will calm or fear them for X seconds. That way you would still need to beat the enemy up, but then your Merciful Turn spell would be super effective (actually work) and make the enemy chill or run. Though really the functions are in the game already. Just ignore the red dots on your radar (the moving xp containers) and carry on with the quest. Nice to stroll through a dwemer mission by Pacifying the machines, makes the deadric armour seem a waste :P
  8. Some dragon remains stay in the world for a long time, after the main quest if done it would be nice to spend 1 dragon soul to put life back into a dragon skeleton. Depending on how many dragon scales/bones are in it's inventory when resurrected, the skin might regrow over the skeleton and make a fully formed dragon. Whether the dragon is re-angry or neutral or even friendly is in the hands of what modders can do! Maybe loading the dragon up with 10 bones and 10 scales makes a stonger, uncontrollable dragon with deadlier shouts. Whereas a low level dragon is friendly/tame at first. Possible? :)
