It's about graphics, you MUST switch to smaller resolution in Game options - otherwise you may try million times and never finish.

My save (level 10, medium difficulty, 2 talents to distribute, many sidequests solved, some trophies, save from Witcher 1 (helping Scoia'tael), not that much money, Kayran NOT looted - save immediately after killing).
