  1. Same thing for me, also I have gone out from first to third person only to find myself in werewolf form wielding my sword and unable to change back to human mesh, Help?
  2. i told farkas to go attack a giant camp with an iron greatsword, he was promptly attacked by an aspect of alduin from the deadly dragons mod whilst blasting away into the night sky...... ;D
  3. I found the whole late half of the skyrim DB questline to be full of oblivion references such as amaud motierre ( a descendant of francois, the man you pretended to assassinate in oblivion to save his life and get him out of the reach of some criminal organization he owed money to) and then there is the part on the katariah where you enter the emperors cabin and he tells you all about how he won't resist and it is his destiny to die at the hands of an assassin (you) just as emperor uriel septim Vll once said to you in the beginning of oblivion 200 years earlier ( except you were not his killer). Then he tells you of how he fears the motierres might misuse they're power if they became a dynasty and wants you to kill amaud after killing him, this is his dying wish.
  4. well the db quests are most likely canon but i'm not entirely sure about the whole amaud motierre situation, tho i think its canon as it was the emperors dying request ( he made your job so easy, its the least you can do for him) and most of you probably did it (especially if you played oblivion) so i think all of the thieves guild stuff is canon along with db (including your betrayal of amaud motierre) tho the companions and college most likely be canon but not very relevant in the next game as they are based in skyrim and skyrim only.
  5. martin septim, the emperor titus mede ll, mehrunes dagon himself, every orc in the game who sent thugs after me for stealing a sweetroll in a remote cave in the middle of nowhere, ulfric stormlcloak, akatosh because alduin is much more agreeable, haskill because i felt he wasnt adequately serving sheogorath, glarthir, all three iterations of m'aiq the liar, 22 cheese wheels, the surlie brothers, lucien lachance, vincente valierti the vertically challenged vampire assassin, rufio, madnach, thornir silverblood, my wife, aela, grelod the kind, the adoring fan, cicero, the gray prince, umbra, umbra, and that guy whos looking for his ring in seyda neen. Yes i did this all in skyrim! 8)
  6. ok i was having the same problem and waiting did not fix it, acouple of days ago i did the main quest where you sneak into the thalmor embassy, at the the time i had fully completed innocence lost but i was not getting the message and the DB sanctuary doors refused to even talk to me (the game wouldnt let me activate them!). So after exiting the thalmor embassy and fast travelling to riverwood 20 hours (real hours mind you) after completing innocence lost, the courier finally showed up and fixed the quests. If that doesnt work, looks like you'll have to use console commands to progress. Hope this helps :)
  7. well being harbinger is hardly being a leader, the companions say that themselves and lets face it, kodlak barely did anything as harbinger, he simply offered wisdom. Being listener was abit strange at first because you weren't officially the leader, but then stuff happened, and boom you are officially the leader, thieves guild needed more quests but was quite solid, the college wasn't anything special and honestly i always found the mages guild/ fighters guild type things to be too mundane tho i did like the companions questline a lot more than any fighters guild questline. Yet again the DB questlines were the most interesting for me and definenently the most rewarding financially as well as fame wise. I was really impressed with the thieves guild quests narrative compared to oblivion. In other words... Harbinger: not really a leader in any real sense though it makes sense considering all that you did for kodlak on such a short time, Arch-mage: still as boring as ever, guildmaster for thieves: you will have to work quite a bit for this but man is it cool to achieve and if you become guildmaster long after completing the main thieves quests it will be nice to see some familiar faces and it is a real coming full circle type of experience. Listener: You assassinated an emperor, his cousin, the son of the emperors captain of the guard, a disgruntled beggar, a vampire, an annoying bard, a bandit leader, and killed the leader of your sanctuary by her request and are one of the last surviving members of the dark brotherhood, plus you've been named the listener by the night mother herself, if you aren't going to lead the brotherhood, who will? Its your inherent right! P.S SCREW PUNCTUATION!!!
  8. whenever i go near the pale imperial camp ( the map marker is missing and has been for sometime tho i didnt bother with it until i started reunification of skyrim) the game crashes! For seemingly no reason (apparently a dragon burial mound could have something to do with it) and i honestly dont know what to do, should i progress and just hope it goes away or not?Need help on this!!!
  9. well i wrote a fairly long winded reply to this, sadly it has been lost as i clicked the reply button instead of the post button so here is a more digestible version I would recommend turning off autosaves, i did this for my CTD ridden fallout 3 goty and it magically stopped all crashes, even the ones that happened when i was just wandering the wastes with nary an autosave necessary. My guess is something outside dustmans carin is using up a ton of cpu (warzones, random events, glitches, dragons, farkas being a moron, etc.) and considering the fact that autosaves use cpu which skyrim enjoys to guzzle and reduce to cinders, it is most likely to taxing on the resources at your disposal ( or skyrim has simply reached its limits due to its poor cpu optimization tho that is unlikely if not implausible) so deactivate autosaves of any kind for the time being and see if that helps, i'm abit of a computer noob so this is more a shot in the dark than anything but it never hurts to try. expanding on the cpu overload theory i have, maybe turning down settings couldn't hurt as the hardware detection for skyrim is quite poor and the defaults tend to either be to taxing or if you have a high end pc, not taxing enough though i can hardly recommend increasing anything until the problem is resolved, hope this helps! :)
  10. Ever since I first entered the super duper mart, I have experienced crashing within 200 feet of the area! Also my game has started freezing everytime I save my game, this has happened ever since I completed the waters of life quest. I think that the super duper mart problem could be related to Marts mutant mod and the zone respawns feature (or increased spawns). I did have serious problems near the super duper mart the second time I went there and was forced to clean my save. Again I'm not sure whats causing it and the freezing during saves is new so I don't even know where to begin with that.
