Hietanen Duly went to Resaver and managed to open latest file. There was 1 (one) unattached instance which I duly cleaned. I tried putting in the search ff001967. I did not understand the 'blank box' reference you gave so I placed it in the first box underneath the menu & all it showed was "skyrim specialedition (0)". I am, of course, now totally lost. Eeek!!

Got back for a few minutes - have swapped the crash logger as instructed. Cannot now play game for more then 5 minutes. Latest crash-log attached. Yes I have installed SSE fixes Yes I have and use Skse see original post detailing system etc. crash-2025-01-13-16-00-52.log

Very sorry Went to link, checked requirements which stated that a file called 'crashlogger' was required. Went to this and was told that it was obsolete and that I should use 'trainwrecker' instead. Thus I did just that. Now when I tried to download Crash Logger SSE AE VR - PDB support as instructed I am told it has already been downloaded. I appreciate your concern regarding Hietanens instruction but given the above conflictions I did the best I coould. At least I got a log file. cheers

If this is the wrong forum please feel free to point me to the right one. Sometime I can play the game 3 hours straight - no problems. Sometimes I play for 1/2 an hour and suddenly BSD (disappears too fast for me to read the problem) Sometimes I play for 1/2 to 3/4 hours and suddenly my computer CTD's. I have worked on the 'puter for hours at a stretch outside of the game with no trouble at all thus I am lead to believe it is something in the game. OK _Thanks folks. Finally got thing s wroking. 1. FINIS - download/install through mod manager , find executable in virtual folder and it worked. 2. Nemesis simply would not work until I downloaded it Manually then installed through MO2 as per usual. KS - Hairdos I finally got working after following a You Tube video on how to install physics. I thought I knew all that stuff but obviously I was being old fashioned and installing the wrong files. Thank you to everyone who replied and offered help - I really did appreciate it.

Many thanks for replying. I am bothering because although each instance is an experimental one I will be using them as 'games' and there is no point in going half-measure. With regard to KS Hair - I had both your recommended items and it still crashes upon making the choice. Cheers.

Story = I have a good, well rounded game going with good, working physics but as soon as I try to load KS HDT-SMP hairs it crashes when I choose one for a character. So I wanted to learn what I was doing (or not doing). To this end I have created a couple of 'instances' in MO2 (one for cbbe and one for unp). I have loaded physics mods etc (HDT *) but:- problem = I cannot get Fores or Nemesis to work in these instances. They both work perfectly in my normal game but not in either new instance. Fores says it can't find my Data folder and 4 other Warnings (which I don't understand anyway) whereas Nemesis merely fires up, tells me to update engine then tells me to update again (and again and again and again etc.) HELP Please = So, I need education on how I load separate copies of Fores and Nemesis so they work only for the Instance I am working on. I am also scared that anything I do in the meantime will affect my regular game which, obviously, I don't want. I do hope this all makes sense and that someone has the patience to educate me in a step-by-step fashion. I would be truly grateful.

I am learning to use the Creation kit and as such I am creating a follower. I want to place them in the prisons under Dragonreach but looking through the 'Cell View world space interiors' I simply cannot find them. Would any kind person tell me exactly where to find them and how to get there? Also - I believe there is a quick way to make sure an NPC puts their feet on the floor (I think it was an 'F' key but again I can't find any reference -- could anyone help- with this??

Is there any way that an MO2 generated save can be cleaned please. I use MO2 for Skyrim 640 version and it saves to its own profile folder. Trouble is my saves are getting longer and longer and longer plus I am beginning to experience unexplained crashes. I am sure these are caused by my (possibly) corrupted saves which I have to load in order to progress If there is a way can someone please publish a 'step-by-step' as I am not really computer savvy. I am a Thane in Markath; I have bought the darned house; The Jarl has given me or assigned to me a house car called Argis_the_Bulwark but he is simply not there and when trying to find him using the console I am simply told it is not parssable or something. code is 000a2c92 or 000a2c8c. Can someone please tell me where the hell he is? He is not at the house nor the keep!
