  1. I wonder if it was possible to create a mod that could take snapshots from game folder and add them to a decorations section as pictures in the workshop while in-game. It would prob have to have some outside app running to convert the pics. I got the idea when using the pimp camera from the outcasts mod. it does the poses but no actual pics. If it could be linked to a keybind (f12 for eg) and then the outside app converted to pic and added to the data folder as a decorations section. would be cool to have pics of followers in the settlements

  3. Sounds good stormwolf. Hopefully someone will do her with quests to go find synths for acadia and give me more of a reason to bother going to far harbor
  4. Chase in Far Harbor is the only female courser and there is a side quest you can do for her but thats it. Having her as a follower helping her find synths would be something I think worth having?
  5. This is weird as it doesnt seem related to save games. I have NOT recently added any mods, changed load order or done any console commands yet iv just noticed when i open the magic menu it takes over 2mins to load. the mouse freezes and the screen just seems to hang till the spells load up. My first thought is go back to a previous save, but iv gone way back to saves where i knew the spells menu worked but now it isnt! It seems no matter what save i try i get this 2min freeze. all the other menus and map etc work fine. Its not even like it gradually got slower, one day it was fine now its not. EDIT: Turns out it was a spell called Bootup from paradise halls mod. i removed that and menu works again. i updated the mod several days ago and must not have used the magic menu since then

  7. strange how there are types from bandits to necromancers and yet no rustlers in skyrim. horses just left standing around all over the place
  8. the quest is very short then you are just left with the vault build at 88. forget building any other vaults like the marketing suggested, you can just build ABOVE ground, like any other walls etc at exsisting settlements, it comes along with the now infamous bethesda bugs that have been there since day 1 and basicly it just adds more ways to do the same thing, again. I would have been happy if they had just added a few empty underground cells that you could link to by dropping a vault door down, then at least there would have been some new areas to build in. but no, just the one place that quickly gets dull with settlers bumping into walls and pointless laim experiments breaking or dont even start. think this is the last nail in the coffin to move onto a different game unless some modders make the DLC useful The fact they cant even be arsed to follow their own storyline anymore, since when as any fallout title had vaults above ground? they either in the side of a mountain or underground. why would u even want to build a vault above ground, it makes no sense. so whats the point of it if you can only build above ground outside of vault 88
  9. It seems its just BAD lag. if i set up arena platforms in a near empty settlement without hardly any settlers it works. so i can have arena battles so long as theres not much else there and hardly any settlers to watch, great!

Might want to set that up next." set all that up originally after watching vids on how to setup. but they all seem to say that once you assign settlers to the platforms they fight, yet iv never had that. so even just a red and blue platform and nothing else doesnt seem to work for me. Im just in need of feedback, just putting out the 2 platforms and assigning settlers to them should start them fighting right?
  11. I had to do an integrty chck on steam and it overwrote my ini files.   12. Thanks for trying to help anyway Purr4me. I can get NPCs to fight with a few console commands but the idea is I paid for this DLC and the platforms have never worked so im sorta fiffed at bethesda and its half arsed attempt

  14. you do know i talking about the bethesda wasteland workshop dlc dont you? they are meant to fight each other when on opposit platforms. any settler is meant to be able to use them, even some of the followers. so no, i shouldnt need to do any scripting, thats what bethesda had supposed to have done but im doubting it now

So Iv never had the arena platforms working, when i first got the dlc i built a big arena, spent hours setting it all up, then nothing. assigned settlers to platforms and they just stood there. so i removed everything and just put out the platforms, still nothing, this pic shows them just standing there, been there for days now http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/Images/41565/? is this dlc just plain broke or what!
  17. The mod creator had used it to store info apparently, but in the 5.01 update they changed it to an invisible marker. It does seem a few do things like this that produce weird side effects, the scrap everything mod mangled up all my settlers faces in far harbor. mods you dont expect to effect things like that. so i will have to keep a closer eye on any changes once i update any mods.

  19. Ah, just looking on all he mods iv installed and its actually OLD WORLD BOSON RADIO that causes it. a radio mod that spaws cats, go figure 5.01 patch seems to fix it
  20. Im crossing my fingers some one may have a clue why this is happening and can help me out. Iv started seeing a cat just pop up randomly next to me and it gets more frequent when im in workbench mode. It just pops in for a second or 2 then vanishes, sometimes i hear it splash in water or scream as it falls if im on a roof. It doesnt seem to effect the game other than it gets quite annoying when building Im not sure whats caused it and I dont want to go back to a previous save as i would have to rebuild alot. I thought it must be some mod conflict but the only mods iv added recently dont have cats in them so thinking maybe iv inadvertantly done some console command thats caused it but i cant think what. Iv tried clicking it in console mode and then using kill and disable but it keeps coming back with another id number. the only constant is the number allways ends in [pp] and [t] t= temp im guessing?
  21. me too, i noticed it in far harbor, when i select them and see their outline they have their hair stretched off into the distance too. I find the fix is selecting them while in workbench so you can see their outline, then type: disable recycleactor enable

Hmm, that may explain why even thou i have better settlers installed i dont see much variation in them even when not borked by scrapeverything. there must be something a few mods are doing with NPCs that is screwing things up. i wonder, gonna try reinstalling better settlers again now iv removed the scrap everything far harbor mod, see if that starts more variation in NPCs again Edit, removed better settlers, beautiful female settlers and The new settlers a plus overhaul vanilla. did i clean save then reinstalled better settlers and beautiful female settlers (left new settlers off as didnt seem make any difference) and place all later in order than scrap everything. all looks ok for now, suppose the test will be when new settlers and NPCs show up. load order: scrap everything - core scrap everything -automatron better settlers beautiful female settlers sc- better settlers patch better settlers no lollygagging better settlers clean face better settlers far harbor

I tried their latest version of scrap everything for far harbor and its still doing it so i just disabled that part for now. might try your suggestion of editing the file if i find i realy need it for far harbor, but right now im just happy they aint all freeks and can still use scrap everything on the mainland
