There are so many as the years go on, The Witcher 2 was amazing though.

  1. Those first two are exactly what i use to open .dds files. Maybe the conversion from .tex isn't doing something right. I think you're right, something is going wrong in the conversion to .dds
  2. I want to make some edits to a texture mod for Monster Hunter World. The mod edits monster icons in the hunter's notes section and other areas of the game by overlaying a small icon of whatever element that monster is weakest against so that the information can be gleaned at first glance without having to open so many menus. The mod hasn't been updated in a while and is missing icons for two monsters, so instead of just having the monster thumbnail as usual without an extra element icon over it, there is no icon at all! This is really bugging me so I've tried two different converters to convert the .tex files the game makes use of, to .dds files I can make edits to and package back up to .tex again. Both converters say they worked successfully but nothing I try can open these .dds files. I've traied Paint.net and Gimp with a .dds plugin i found for it. I've also tried Windows 10's native .dds viewer just to try and look at them. Does anyone have an idea of what I can use to edit these things?
  3. Holy crap i just spent an hour trying to get GeDoSaTo to work @_@
  4. So I've been using quickbms to unpack bundle files and been reading through a lot of lines of code trying to figure out where I would need to begin to fix what they broke in 1.05. Ever since 1.05 crafting mutagens is a pain in the butt because for example you want to craft a greater red mutagen, you need three red mutagens, I craft one red mutagen and then it won't let me craft another saying I already have the item in my inventory. So then I need to drop it and create another one, drop that, and create another one, then pick them up and craft my greater one. And if i want to fill all 4 slots with the same color oh my god that's a lot of dropping and picking up. Same goes for white gull, albedo, nigredo, etc. You craft one and it won't let you craft a second one. I could wait for a patch but I want to try and fix this myself. Does anyone know where I would begin?
  5. That has a really nice rhyme to it "This is the 3 I wish to see!" Could be like a spell or something lol
