I use my 55" 1080p tv for a moniter will be up grading to a 4k version later this year if there was a 55" monitor i would be looking at that instead. decided to go with the treadripper I have the Asus rog x399 motherboard now. I will be using a M.2 960pro 512 ssd for the os and a M.2 512 to keep my few games and creation kit on and M.2 1tb for other applications. As i have a few 1 and 2tb hard drives for storage there is not any need to buy any. Graphics card will be a Asus rog strix GTX 1080Ti . Decided to go with ddr4 3600 memory not sure if im going with 16 or 32gb yet. have yet to look at a case. still looking at a 1100-1200watt psu if i ever decide to add anything i won't have to worry about having enough power .

Intel makes quality cpu's that are great for gaming. I want a system That will do more. Also Intel price's are to costly for my buget for this build. It must be able able to game and run creation kit at once. edit videos . be able to watch net flix or hulu and what ever else I need to do. I am not a heavy gamer Fallout and a few racing games. 30 fps for Fallout 4 is fine with me. Then there's also the possibility that game maker's may make use of the fact that there's more core's to use as well. My bottom line is i need a multi versatile system that will do what i ask of it. that's my first priority. I could build a gaming set up for less cost wise with just Intel parts. My current build is Asus rog ZENITH EXTREME sTR4 AMD X399 Amd threadripper 1950x G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 64GB 4x16GB SSD 960 PRO NVMe M.2 512GB and a 1TB ASUS ROG Strix RX Vega64 OC Edition GRAPHICS card LIQTECH STR4 360 LIQUIDCFANCPU COOLER Corsair AXi Series, AX1200i psu My goal is to have this done by August this year. still would like to know if anyone has a set up similar to this how it works for them.

OK I have had enough of my old pc now building a AMD based Thread ripper 1950x with a ASUS ROG Zenith Extreme x399 mother board. Has anyone used this cpu/mother board set up for creation kit? I am not building just this just for gaming use. Any feed back would be appreciated Thanks
