I don't have any reason to believe that existing mods will work with the Legendary edition. Bioware made a cryptic comment about wanting mods to work, and that they planned on contacting some mod authors. But I've seen comments from some of the major players in the mod community suggesting that existing mods probably won't work. That's why I haven't preordered the game, and probably won't purchase it until / unless some essential things get ported over. MEHEM is mandatory for me, as is some sort of capability of editing weapons to achieve the balance that I think they should have. I also have to have the capability of editing barriers and shields so that they don't block powers; I have never accepted that ME2 / ME3 retcon, and won't. If I can get those three things, then I'll be happy to buy and play the Legendary edition. If not, then I still appreciate Bioware doing a remaster, but it won't be for me.

Thanks for the information, and the quick reply. I'll play around with the site for a while. I look forward to the re-designed site with full https on the front end. Eventually I'll probably join as a paying member, but it takes me a while to become comfortable with new things. Not sure that there will be much of an alternative once Bethesda goes live with its Skyrim re-release. It's good that you folks are around, and already established.

After several years of limping around Skyrim mods using Steam, I finally have been forced to the Nexus by Bethesda's new site for FO4 mods. Now that I've registered my account, I'd like to browse and maybe download a couple of mods, but once I leave the forums, it seems that I'm back with unencrypted http. Is there any way to access the actual mods through the more secure https, so that my login credentials aren't broadcast to the world in plain text? I apologize if this question has been asked a hundred times before. I did search the forums, but either I got nothing, or else I got several dozen pages of responses, which didn't seem to have an answer.
