  1. Hi all! I was going through some old screenshots I took back in March and came across a few that showed the Lunar Forge having purple/bluish flames. I was using either Rembrandt ENB or Lucid ENB at the time, but I don't think that I edited any settings in those configs that allowed specifically the Lunar Forge to be purple (I don't think that there's even a way to do that for one specific lighting type). I went back and installed my lighting mods from that time (ELE + Relighting Skyrim)—no dice, I still have orange flames in the forge. I don't think that Embers HD has anything to do with the color either, because I reinstalled it, too, and still had no color change. Does anyone know of a mod that changes the Lunar Forge's flame colors to purple, or know of any way I can do it myself? I really liked the look of those purple flames lol Link to image on imgur
  2. Hi all. I'm using the meshes/textures from another mod to create my own one for personal use because, in my game, you can never have too many types of horse. I've already gotten the five "breeds" of horses finished, but I can't mount any of them in-game. I have the mod Immersive Interactions and am able to pet the horses, so I have no idea why I can't ride them. I also have Convenient Horses installed but I don't think that mod is interfering with mine.
  3. Okay, so the thing I tried to do in the above post didn't work (of course). Does anyone else have any answers?
  4. @Markkuboi — Yeah. I've viewed a few other topics that were similar to this issue, but they were either left unanswered and only one had an actual solution (that of course didn't work for me), and that was deleting the antivirus software. OP had a different antivirus than I did, but I was hoping that getting ride of the antivirus would work either way :/ Anyway, I tried running FO4 though it's regular .exe and through the launcher, without the Script Extender, and I did this straight from steam/steamapps/common/fallout4/ and through MO2 and the ENB still won't work. I'm downloading FO4 on a spare laptop as I type this up to see if it's Windows 10 causing some kind of issue (I doubt it because as Ii said above the ENBs for SSE and FO3 work fine, but it's worth a try). The laptop itself isn't meant for gaming and just barely meets the requirements for the vanilla game, but I'm just trying to see if Ii can get the effects to work at start up. So yeah, this test is probably a waste of time but I'm kinda desperate now.
  5. Quick edit: Title's supposed to be "ENBs will not work properly?" It's super early in the morning, I'm sorry I cannot, for the life of me, get any ENBs to work with Fallout 4. I was previously using ReShade until I got a new graphics card, but nothing's working. I have used two Enb and ReShade removers, the one for FO4 and the one for SSE, to make sure any files related to my previous ReShade were removed. I've tried all binaries for Fallout 4, nothing. I went through several ENB presets to see if any of the effects will work—and still nothing. I get the text stating that the binaries have been installed, but I'm not getting any effects...I can toggle the menu and hotkeys, but that's it. I'm still looking at ugly blurry vanilla textures on the main menu. My new card is a 1660 Ti, idk if that has anything at all with my issue, but I never had a problem with having an installed preset showing the effects with my old RX 580 and I'm following all the steps to install the binaries correctly and also any presets. I don't think it's anything I'm doing since I have an ENB running with SSE and Fallout 3, and I don't think it's my hardware. I literally just reinstalled FO4 and the problem's still there. I would really appreciate any help you guys can offer because I'm completely stumped (that, and I really, really don't wanna go back to ReShade just to have some kind of nice quality DOF effect).
  6. @StormWolf01 Ah, thank you for the information and the tutorial link! Unfortunately when I tried following your steps, the goggles still showed up as invisible. What I did was use the BOD2 - Biped Body Template information from Eli's Medic Bag since it was originally in the 55 - Unnamed slot (I have no interest in using the bags from that mod in-game) and copied/dragged its info over to the Pilot Goggles [HIGH] entry of the same mod. Then I did the same for the other goggles in the Goggles on Forehead entries. I was following along with your tutorial as I worked, and it's kinda late on my end so it may be that I misread a step somewhere, or simply neither mod will allow me to actually change their entries the way I want. @robotized Mhm. Before posting here, I have been making sure to check that I changed both the Armor and ArmorAddon entries when I edit bodyslots. Still doesn't seem to want to work with me though, but thank you for the reminder
  7. So I'm trying to edit the goggles from these two mods: Goggles on Forehead and Apocalypse Accessories so that I can use them with other vanilla and modded eyewear, but I'm running into an issue where after editing the armor slots in FO4Edit, the goggles just appear invisible. All of the goggles are originally in the 47 Eyes slot, but no matter what slot I change them to in FO4Edit, the goggles just appear invisible. I've hunted around online but couldn't find anything that addressed my problem besides an old tutorial for Skyrim and a YouTube tutorial. I ran through the tutorial twice but still couldn't get it to work for me.
  8. I hope I’m posting this is the right place… Okay, so I’ve searched Google and can’t seem to find a solution to my question. Basically I have a mod that changes the face and hair of a specific vanilla NPC, and it’d be all fine and all if ApachiiSkyHair wasn’t a master for the mod. I like that particular hair mod, but recently found out that it was the cause of my low frame rate, despite only that particular NPC using the hair in-game *shrug* I wanted to know if there was anyway to actually inject that particular NPC’s hair style from ApachiiSkyHair into the mod itself without having ApachiiSkyHair as a master – like, how some people have made NPC overhauls with, let’s say, KS Hairdos by just having the textures and meshes and not the master esp. I know that there’s going to be some work in the Creation Kit for me to do this (if it’s even possible), but I’m willing to go through that if it means I can have this NPC makeover without having to deal with the low FPS.
  9. Hey all! So I'm getting back into modding Fallout 3 and this time I want my playthrough to really focus on roleplaying my character. See, I headcanoned that James is not my Wanderer's real father it's a headcanon I worked really hard to make non lore-breaking-shhh and I want to keep Jame's default Caucasian appearance rather than him changing to match my character's race. I read that two commands (MatchRace and MatchFaceGeometry) are fired on each Dad reference in the game (Baby Steps, Growing Up Fast, Future Imperfect, etc.) Using the G.E.C.K, how do I stop these scripts/functions from being used so that I keep "default Caucasian James"? I'm sorta-kinda familliar with the Creation Kit layout from using Skyrim's a few times in the past, but not to the point where I know where and how to locate certain scripts or actor references so I can edit them. Yes, it's probably not best to go editing the original Fallout 3.esm, but I've made back-ups, so everything's good.
  10. Hopefully I'm posting this to the right thread... Anyway, hey guys, I'm fairly new to modding but I've gotten a decent-looking Skyrim game going right now after a few weeks of trial and error. I had Convenient Horses on an old playthrough, but something messed up and I resorted to deleting NMM and doing a clean install of Skyrim. This time around, I started off using Mod Organizer 2 and I used Immersive Horses instead. Immersive Horses, no matter what I did, was not working properly (should have tested it out when I first installed it, that was totally on me) and I couldn't find a fix for it on any forums. So I deleted it and went back for Convenient Horses — now I know on IH's description page that the author said to just start a new game, but I refuse to unless it is absolutely necessary (I found a work around that working for me atm so that my game doesn't crash). I've tried installing CH through the manager, I've tried installing it manually, but no matter what all I get is it loaded to 58% before Mod Organizer opens a pop up titled Data Error with an OK button, and if I don't click that fast enough for the program to tell me that the mod wasn't installed properly then MO freezes up and crashes. After the crash and reopening Mo, the mod is in the load order but I know that it wasn't installed properly. So...is there anyway I can get this mod installed without an issue (MO does this with the Modular Edition of Men of Winter, too)? Or am I going to have to do a clean install of everything again?
