I Recently completed my first standalone armor retexture, and now I'm trying to remodel the armor to fit the cbbe body. However, remodeling is not quite as simple as changing two textures, and I'm having a slight problem. Before anyone asks, I blurred parts of the image to make focal points for one to look at what I'm doing So first I load up my .nif file into Nifskope and export it as a .obj for use in blender. http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/7349/63974717.png Please take note that I have the NiTriShapeData block selected, so it will only export the mesh. Then, I import the .obj into blender for some edits http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/194/93144742.png I did not do anything to the material, uv map, or anything that isn't the mesh. http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/5989/99820706.png I moved a few vertices around, rotated a few pieces of the armor and deleted a few parts of it. No changes to any UV mapping or textures, just touched the vertices a little After completing my edits, I proceed to export the .obj http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/4562/30721639.png And then back to Nifskope, I import the edited .obj model please note that when importing, NifSkope does not allow importing into the NiTriShapeData block, so I was forced to import the mesh into the parent block. http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/5172/64753088.png When suddenly http://img845.imageshack.us/img845/2452/58699933.png Error! Also, after importing, the imported mesh looks nothing like what was in blender. http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/5788/32220469.png Now that you saw my whole procedure, can someone please shed some light on what went wrong in my remodel?
