Please consider the dream mod should be less boss battles and more just being weird Stuff like Tomadachi Life where you come across a bunch of people worshipping a giant plate of food or some stuff from Paprika or Inception

Hammerfell didn't keep them out, that's how Hammerfell fought a massive guerrilla war against the AD. It wasn't an overpowering victory, it was a brutal, vicious campaign that wore them down, bit by bit. Southern Hammerfell, the part seceded to the Dominion, is mentioned as a "Devastated" nation when you hear mention of it. This isn't a battle you win, this is a battle most likely won by burning every building, field and structure in the region until nothing is left but wasteland He would drive out the Blades because they work for the Empire. The Blades always have worked for the Empire, the introduction of the Dragonborn is a new thing and, well, you're the Last Dragonborn. Their involvement with the Empire is legendary and historic, even. As for the Blades themselves, well, Ulfric isn't Dragonborn, so they, quite frankly, have no concern with him. They're going to kill as many dragons as they can, and then vanish for a while. Maybe they'll turn up back home in Cyrodil and see what happens with the crowning of a new emperor. Maybe they'll fade into the annuals of history They're not going to help out some complete stranger who's at war with the nation that most of them are from.

He can try to rebuild Skyrim, but the thing about the Dominion? They're strong. They're -very- strong. The Empire signed the White Gold Treaty because it would not have lasted, it could not have won the battle in any way, shape or form. We are talking about the group that killed the Mane and most likely hid the moons, before pretending they fixed something. People who can make moons vanish from the sky are not necessarily too worried by a bunch of northern barbarians half the world away. It would take well more than a few years, unless Ulfric is, say, an impulsive character with bad diplomatic skills who tends to be a bit headstrong and- oh. Wait. That's exactly what he is. Ulfric taking on the might of the Dominion in a few years is suicide, any way you look at it. There's no hopeful battle, there is simply him and his armies getting destroyed. Once again, they made the moons vanish. And as for the Blades...Why would Ulfric be bothered with them? They're an Imperial faction, not Nordic. Once the dragons are gone, they're simply picking up their stuff, burning all evidence they were there, and going off anywhere else. Ulfric's more likely to exile them rather than keep them as spymasters, plus they've got a new emperor who, due to the fact the last one pretty much gave up his life voluntarily, will now no longer be burdened by the failures of the past The Aldermi Dominion wants to end man as a concept. The only hope against that is man uniting against them. The Stormcloaks are only concerned for Skyrim and will let the world burn until they're right and ready, but by that point its too late. Thalmor only need one or two more Towers down, and then their plans become reality.

Why do most race mods Have only the player as that race?
Fistitron replied to mr3cman's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Most interactions with the Akavir have been the many wars they and Cyrodil had. And that was split between two of the various races there And that's before you even consider that Tscasci may or may not be humans, shapeshifters, snake-people, or some combination of all that (Plus Akavir is sort of in the future) -
Petition Valve Over 63,000 signatures
Fistitron replied to FordPerfect's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Outcries make a difference Keep the noise up. Not just here, but in other places. If a media site latches on, then there's the possibility of something happening. If Valve get enough bad press overall it should be good Remember SimCity? That went "wonderfully" for EA and they eventually were forced to make the online mode that was allegedly impossible on their system, along with basically completely remaking Sims 4 lest they had another disaster. -
Pay for mods? Can someone please tell me what's going on?!
Fistitron replied to morogoth35's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Please also note that, given Valve have disabled ratings on these files, disabled discussions on these files, and are moderating them, the community is a might bit upset (I say "Might bit upset" where I actually mean "Flipping furious") Most things pulled from the Nexus have been pulled for safety: There's basically no checking who the modders are or anything of the sort, so people have pulled mods either A: Out of protest B: To protect them, so other people don't download them themselves and upload for money Its a bit of a Thing. -
There is an approval process? I thought all the author has to do is set a price option and it instantly becomes a paid mod? There is an approval process. Its currently getting slammed by people who have found the obvious loophole in the system. As for it, I don't know if they'd be sued per-say. I think it'd generally be a DMCA takedown notice, and that would go from Valve to the person. Course given Valve's insistence to not remove anything from their servers...

The Workshop has never really been competition for the Nexus, let's be honest They had that whole file size restriction up until a month ago. This is their whole attempt to try and be competiion

It being typical doesn't mean its right. In a week, a donation drive for Minecraft mods earned enough to basically silence any complaining about people making modpacks for the rest of eternity. Valve bans mods that dare have donation pages elsewhere for people to have it Quite frankly as an oldschool Warcraft 3 and NWN modder, this whole thing doesn't sit right with me at all. I'd support donations easily, but purchasing mods that could, quite frankly, ruin your game and all your saves? This is going to end poorly.

Lore-intensive mod concept: Aedric armor...
Fistitron replied to Kestrellius's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Hey hey hey, Oblivion's Thieves Guild was good. You at least stole things, and pulled off a massive heist at the end to get the only Elder Scroll in the game Unlike certain other Thieves Guild quests... (COUGHCOUGH SKYRIM THIEVES GUILD COUGHCOUGH)
