  1. Oh I see. That sounds pretty cool. Also now I'm having flashbacks to being low on ammo and running across a pair of those nasties.
  2. How about a dragon weapons mod with unique weapons? There's already a couple mods, but they use basically reskinned weapons from the game. (mostly reskinned orcish weapons) I would love to see some unique dragon weapons. I'm picturing something like a Dragon Blade, with a body made of carved dragon bone, the hilt wrapped in leather, the blade tapering down toward the tip, curving back slightly. The cutting edge made of dragon scales, honed to razor sharpness and shining in the bluish color of the dragonscale armor, set into the edge in a similar fashion to the Mayan Maquahuitl' s obsidian edge, but carefully and closely, so the edge is slightly serrated, but has no gaps or spikes in it.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macuahuitl (the weapon I'm referring to)
  3. I was about to ask, 'why would a rock monster eat flesh?' but upon re-reading that it sounds like they'd have a chitinous exterior and be flesh and blood. Are you thinking rock monster in a Zelda 'Goron' sense, or a Mudcrab-like sense?
  4. Welcome to the new millennium, where you don't own the things you buy. It would be really cool if there were a way for the console players to get Skyrim mods. OP, I like where this is going. However, the pristine look from your images doesn't quite fit the theme of the game. Add some grunge, make the backs of the shields wooden, etc. The boomerang would be really sweet, as would a bombchu. (even though that would really break the game's immersion :) ) Also, if the sword beam doesn't work out, what about Ocarina of Time's spinning attack? Or the fairy magic? Din's fire is similar to a flame spell, but I can't remember what it's name is. Nayru's Love could make a pretty awesome invincibility spell. In a super-hard dungeon, Farore's Wind would be pretty neat, allowing you to bail out if you had to. Anyway, best of luck. I look forward to this mod.
  5. I'm certain I've gotten kill animations in the middle of a fight. I didn't know that it was supposed to be limited.
  6. Here's some inspiration... http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-966
  7. Maybe this has been posted here already, but the earlier post about the Sphere's crossbow got me thinking. How about an autococking crossbow? It could use its own specific darts, with a low per hit damage, in say a five-round magazine. It could pop off its five rounds as fast as the mechanism could cock (say 5 rounds in 3 seconds, around 5 damage per dart plus the crossbow's damage) but after the mag was expended, have it need to be reloaded manually. I guess that would require a reloading animation. On second thought, a removable mag would look out of place. Maybe a magazine like a bolt action rifle (I couldn't tell you a specific model, my mom has one though) where each shell (dart in this case) has to be loaded through the action.
  8. I've been playing around with some minor mods, and trying to tweak the map a bit. I have installed the Classic Map - Main Roads only, set the map to view from 90 degrees, removed clouds, and have been tweaking the zoom in/out distance. The goal here is to have a map that looks like an actual map. (I guess it'd be a magic map since it shows where you are, etc.) Zoomed in close, everything looks fine. I can pan the map to wherever, and it looks right. However, when zooming out, everything goes grey, like it's fogged over. I think it's from the in-game weather, but I don't know that for sure. Is there any way to make that go away? I'd like to be able to zoom out until the whole nation is visible and be I can see everything.
