I had problems with random CTD often aswell and pinpointed the issue down to the XP32 skeleton. When I removed that mod the crashes stopped. I don't know if that is your problem but it was for me.

Did you install the XP32 skeleton? I had problems with CTDs and narrowed it down to this mod. When i stopped using the crashes stopped.

I use a deadly traps mod and I'm roleplaying a mage thief character that won't do anything too unrealstic and dangerous. The swinging blades traps always have a lever on the other side that needs to be pressed to deacivate them and that means running through the trap to the other side and possibly being killed 10-20 times. This is something I don't want to do with the character. I thought Telekinesis would allow me to activate the switch so I went to the mage college and trained until i had the spell but it seems something that simple was beyond the ideas of the developers and telekinesis does not work on trap switches. I have tried searching for a mod that does this but no luck. Is this something that can be done with a mod?

I have noticed that some mods I remember using before are not showing up in mod search or mod categories on the skyrim nexus mods site but searching for the mod in google will give me a link to the mod on skyrim nexus. That means the mods are still on the site and can be downloaded but they just won't show up in nexus search. This mod for example "skyrim beautiful followers" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37861 When I search for "skyrim beautiful followers" I only find 2 patches for the mod in the search but don't find the actual mod. But the same search on google gives me a link to the mod on nexus. Is the site bugged or are some mods being hidden on purpose?

It's because skyrim is empty, unfinished and bad, the quests and game world are boring, you really want to enjoy the game but you can't so you keep downloading new mods, starting over and hoping for it to be better next time but it doesn't work. I've had the game for a long time but I've never completed it because of this exact reason. Just my opinion.

I know this is old but I just had this problem myself and it's because you have a DLC like dawnguard and you're using a custom race mod with and outdated RaceCompatibility.esp. You have to download the dawnguard version of RaceCompatibility that you can find here.... http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24168/? That should help anyone that has this annoying problem.

I recently started my first thief character and decided to rob everyone in Riverwood before moving on. I then made my way to Whiterun and got the dragonstone quest, on my way back to Riverwood I was attacked by 3 thugs that hit really hard. I managed to kill them by jumping on a rock and using a bow. I found a note that had the name of the old woman in Riverwood, she obviously hired them to kill me. I only took a few gold coins and some garlic from her house, I wasn't caught and didn't get a bounty. I don't find this to be realistic at all. I can understand it happening if she seen and caught me stealing but this just breaks immersion and I don't want all the npcs to be hiring thugs to kill me the whole game. Is there a mod that removes this from happening or can someone make one?

I play a stealthy warrior / hunter, soon to be dragon hunter and I don't like Lydia at all. I'm not that far into the game and I want to get rid of her already. She always gets in my way during combat and while sneaking up on enemies, or she does stupid stuff like running after crabs across rivers that are just not needed to be killed. I think i will leave her to guard my house or maybe knock her off a cliff somewhere.

I found all 3 of the Elder Scrolls games I played, Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim, are lacking in depth when it comes to quests and immersion into the game world. They're good at placing down the terrain, cities, caves and making the graphics look good but I feel that Bethesda suck at making interesting quests, characters to interact with and storylines. Don't get me wrong I still enjoyed playing them but once you get bored thats it, time to move on.

The males look kinda cool but the females look horrible. I can't wait for some race overhaul mods.

I noticed that aswell, but it's better to create a map inside your head anyway. Use your eyes to view the enviroment and explore like it would be if the game was real, instead of trying to fill out the black area on the map. You will have much more fun that way.

None of them are beautiful, all of the females i've seen in the game so far are ugly.

Whats the best way to deal with the doors in ancient tombs that have three symbols and you have to turn the rings to get the correct symbol combination for the door to open? I've been standing at one for 10 minutes now trying to open it, can i do something or go somewhere to find out what the combination is, or do i just have to keep guessing?

Is there a way to disable the "head bobbing" of the camera when my character runs around? It does it in 1st and 3rd person and i would prefer if the camera was smooth instead. I had a look in the skyrimprefs file but couldn't see anything that would maybe stop it from happening.

I was thinking about buying skyrim because i loved oblivion and morrowind but i stopped playing them because oblivion was so unstable. It would crash to the desktop randomly without any error messages, sometimes it wouldn't do it for days and other times it would crash multiple times within a 3 hour gaming session. I tried many, many things to stop the random crashes, even bought a whole new computer and i was able to run oblivion on high settings with around 30-60 fps but it would still do the same random crashes. I got so tired of it that i gave up on the game, it was just annoying and bored me to death having to deal with all the crashing. So yea my question is, can i expect the same from Skyrim?
