  1. This is what a sawed off shotgun is FOR :)
  2. Can no longer sprint... I've had this bug happen where I can't sprint any more... I thought at first I had leg injury, but nope... then I thought maybe it's a mod, but I turned them off and it was still like that on that save on restarting the game.... THEN I found a work around: I reload a different character in a different location, sprint a little (to check that it's fixed, always is) and then reload the other save. That seems to fix it... it's annoying but not so hard to fix now, but it's happened maybe 3-4 times.. I can't tell what causes it but it SEEMS to happen when I fast travel TO sanctuary in PA, and get out... I then later notice I can't sprint, getting back into power armor doesn't help, nor reloading at that point, or making a new save, and reloading that, or sleeping... etc.
  3. I have also had this happen, lucky for me, the core was at like 10% left and I just used it nearly up... but I would have liked to remove it just before running out and sold it. It isn't the worst bug, and I've not seen it again, but I have seen this. randomly, are you using any mod that affects fusion core drain rates? just a thought.
  4. p. It made an improvement in Fallout NV over Fallout 3 but has regressed again. well, Chris Avellone worked on fo2 and fonv... among other excellent titles... I know one person does not a great game make, but everything he gets involved in I have enjoyed, for the writing and RPGness... though of course some of these titles do railroad you, most allow many ways to ride that rail. just look at notable game credits: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Avellone
  5. I had like, 20-30 mods installed a few days after release, and I have ~=120 right now (granted, it's like 40 graphics substitutions/texture opti'd but there's been a non-stop fire-hose gusher of mods which help fo4 literally right out of the gate.
  6. hehe, this is all I can think of https://youtu.be/xhW894oWEZw?t=301 SAVE MY BABY! hmmmmm. hmmph. No sir, I didn't like it.
  7. I'm guessing the biggest bang for buck for loading times after (and maybe before! video card is fps after load more I would think...ymmv) the video card would be one of these: SAMSUNG 850 EVO 2.5" 250GB SATA III 3-D Vertical Internal Solid State Drive Max Sequential Read Up to 540 MBps Max Sequential Write Up to 520 MBps 4KB Random Read Random read (QD1) [iOPS]: up to 10,000 IOPS Random read (QD32) [iOPS]: up to 197,000 IOPS 4KB Random Write Random Write (QD1) [iOPS]: up to 40,000 IOPS Random Write (QD32) [iOPS]: up to 88,000 IOPS (80$ at newegg currently... looks like walmart also has same prices atm) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147372 It would also probably cause you to do a fresh install of win7 which always seems to snappy things up for me... you can also try the following cmd: "DISM /online /cleanup-Image /spsuperseded" This removes backup files created when running updates/service pack installs to prune a win7 install size down a bit and shorten OS booting... it won't help fo4 loading times though I don't believe found it here: http://superuser.com/questions/1/why-does-the-winsxs-folder-grow-so-large-and-can-it-be-made-smaller
