  2. Hey all I am trying to find a mod that allows my followers to transform into their werewolf form when I do and then leave it when I do. Right now I use the mod that can initiate the change thru dialog but I would rather have what I stated above. Even if someone could talk me thru the script would be helpful. Thanks all!!
  3. This is an idea I thought of but idk if it would even be possible, I am no way capable of doing this kind of mod I will discuss. Has anyone made a mod that allows for visualization of the second weapon? As of now when you holster your weapon only your main hand shows up on your waist, would it be possible to make the second one also show up? With the release of the creation kit I thought maybe it would. If it is someone should make it because I know for one I would love to have that available. Thoughts?
  4. Hey everyone, I am a newbie when it comes to modding and even with searching I cannot find the answers to my questions. 1.). I want to edit a vanilla mesh mainly by just adding pants to the Penitus Occulatus armor, which I believe uses the general tulilius mesh, but I could be wrong. 2.) I want to add a cloak of some kind to the mesh also Those are my goals and what I cannot find is tutorials that will help me, I have access to a computer with 3dmax with all plugins to import the NIF files and understand how to get the mesh from the BSA files. If someone can point me in the right direction or even offer me a tutorial that would be amazing, and on a side note should I just get Blender? Would it be easier to use than 3dmax? Thank you ahead of time for any input given here!
  5. Wow I'm such a newb at this when I didn't compress it it came out great. Is there any benefit from compressing the dds and do either of you know where I can find information on what the example_n.dds type files are and what they do?
  6. Hey! I am working on an armor mod and I am using GIMP and what I did was copy and paste a logo, specifically the Penitus Ocul. Logo to another piece of armor and it has lost a lot of its quality when I compare it in-game to the real Penitus armor. I'm am relatively new at doing these mods so please forgive me if this is a stupid question. Thanks ahead of time for any help given!
  7. The mesh probably points to a different texture location. Open the mesh in Nifskope, select the BSLightingShaderProperty in the NiTriShape dropdown, then select the BSShaderTextureSet in that dropdown. At the bottom uder "Block Details" select the 'Textures" dropdown and it will show you all the file paths used. Or just check the original download file path in textures. Edit: Yeah I just checked it and he's using a different file path: textures\clothes\magejourneyman\m\ Basically he's using Mage Journeyman Robes to replace the DB armor. Ok, so then to alter the texture I need to change the dds texture of the Mage journeyman instead of the file in the texture/dbarmor? I'm a bit confused why the journeyman Mage is changed instead of the dbarmor...I thought it was a dbarmor mod? I'm tring to learn so sorry if this is a very dumb question. Thanks for helping too :)
  8. Hey everyone! I have been trying to create a mod to alter an existing armor mod to make it look like an Imperial ranger/assassin. I have run into issues with the mod and since I'm a newb at modding I don't know how to fix it myself so I am requesting if anyone has an interest on this to make this. The mod I was thinking of altering is Assassins Rangers and Sneak-Thieves 2.0 This author doesn't care if others change it only if you give them credit, I hope someone is interested!
  9. Hey everybody! I have a newb question about modding. I got permission to alter someone else's mod and I planned on just changing the texture. This mod is a full armor set with changed meshes that ultimately replaces the dark brotherhood armor. My question is that when I change th texture it won't show up in the game instead it stays as if I never changed it. But when I remove the meshes folder the armor doesn't fit right but the texture change I made now shows up, the mod is the Ranger Assassin armor set, if you search it on skyrim nexus you will find it. If there is an easy fix I can do that would be great! Thanks for reading!
