So I've been working on my own new world space for a bit, and just yesterday I changed some things around (I forget which exactly), but today I load it up and some cells are floating in the air and it seems as if its somehow linked to FalloutNV.esp, because every time I load my new world and make it active, I go back to data and both FalloutNV and my world plugins are selected. Somehow the heightmap of FalloutNV.esp and my world got mixed in together. I'm not sure how. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this? EDIT: It looks like my new world seems to think it is a part of the Fallout NV world as it is just sitting underneath the world. Somehow. But I have no idea how to get rid of this and make it a whole separate world again. Not sure how this happened lol. Here are some screenshots of the problem: These are of my new world [Oasis]. http://s13.postimage.org/eeht2q5mv/example1.png http://s17.postimage.org/u5rnb0r3j/example2.png http://s18.postimage.org/jnpnfjhvd/example3.png And this is in the same area under the WastelandNV world of my .esp plugin http://s17.postimage.org/a0krjpa27/example4.png

So I started this quest, and I''m in the middle of the quest currently, but went down a path that I didn't want to and that wasn't within my characters persona. So, how do I start this quest over again? I know there is a user command for it, but when I do it, how do I get that quest to come back because it doesn't show up in my quest log and Yes Man doesn't allow me to initiate the conversation for that quest again. So is there any way I can cleanly or re-initiate that quest again?

Start Geck, File > Data. You'll see a window that displays all current plugins. Make sure that the only one checked is FalloutNV. As soon as it loads save it to your data folder. With the cell window find the location where you want to place said cabinet with gun in the already existing world. Save it again. Load up the game making sure that your new saved plugin is checked in either your data files startup or in FOMM.

^ Thanks a bunch. What about more casino game additions like craps or poker?

Are there any drivable vehicle mods for New Vegas?

Hi there. So I'm about half-way through the "How Little We Know" Quest and I've realized the outcome to the path I'm on isn't the one in line with my character. I accepted this quest through Benny's Yes robot, not through the prostitute in the Gommarah courtyard. I know there is a code (~) "restartquest", but when I typed that in, the quest was gone from my log as expected, but when I got back to talk to the Yes Man robot, there is no initiation to start that quest over. So is there anyway I can restart the quest "How Little We Know" without restarting my game? Am I doing something wrong? Have I not tried something?

GECK keeps on deleting my creations

I think I figured it out. I am quite new to this, and the GECK although simple, program wise, is very complicated. I reopened all the versions of the plugin I had and cut and pasted in place to one world (it made several copies). I just then saved it, deleted the other worlds. Thanks for your help. :) Kudos+ -

Administrator, no. But I will do that from now on. And yes, if I open up a previous plugin that I have been working on and I try to save, it prompts me to make a brand new save. However, that's only for the first time I try to save after loading up that plugin. After that I can save over the plugin whenever I want, until I close and open it again and then that process repeats. I hadn't been making my plugin as active. So now it seems that my "world" is separated through 4 different .esps. I would now need somehow combine them together I guess, if there is a way. -

Nevermind, it only asks if I want to continue. So if I had not been making it active when opening, what would that do to my plugin? -

Well when I double click to open it, it says it isn't active and asks if I want to make it active and I always press yes, so is that not the same thing? -

I just loaded it again and even MORE stuff is gone. Almost everything is gone now. WTF? -
This has happened a couple of times now. I had just made a whole entire city yesterday and when I load it back up today almost everything is gone except for some of the things I added just before saving and exiting the editor. So now my whole entire city is gone; all the roads, sidewalks, buildings, and some of the highway. Why is the GECK deleting items I place in my new worldspace? This is extremely frustrating to have all this work go to waste.

Hi there, so I just began with the GECK just in the past week. I've gotten the hang of the basics, however, it seems that every time I get somewhat into creating new additions (mainly exterior objects in the FalloutNV.esm) when it starts to load it crashes. In other words, if I work on a project and come back to it the next day, when I load it up the GECK seems to crash/freeze at 5%-6%. Yes I let it load, even after it says not responding as it does sometimes, and yes I'm pretty sure my computer is capable of running the GECK, yet it seems to crash almost every time I begin working on a project for more than an hour. I'll give you examples. I made a small fortress with a couple of buildings and metal fences and an NPC guard and some barrels with fire. I went back to it, loaded up the .esp and it crashes at 5%. I also attempted to make another Follower NPC, by following a tutorial, and I put him in a new building I placed in the wasteland. Closed it, went back in and it crashes/freezes at 5%. Does anyone know possibly what the issue is here? I should mention I am running on Vista with an ATI Radeon HD5670. It's an older card yes, but it runs many games beautifully with my great amount of RAM. Any help would be appreciated
