so i kinda abused the long-range hacking throughout the entire automatron campaign to simply shut down any hostile robots, so i was wondering if someone could make it possible to shut down friendly robots? i like the idea of making a robot(s) for my settlements and being able to tell them to stand in a specific spot (can already be done with the companion menu) and shut them down, like telling them to stand in a shack, and then being able to shut them down would be cool. anyone interested?

i still do not understand why they have suddenly become so popular, i mean, a few months ago when i looked at the front page i'd usually see: one ENB (sits there for 1-2 days) one tweak/practical mod (sits there for just under a week) one new armor mod (sits there for 2-3 days) one new gameplay mod (sits there for 2-3 days) one weapon mod (sits there for a few hours to 1 day) one follower mod (if generic, sit's there for 1 day, if unique, a little under a week) but now, when looking the last few months, what i see is: the first three featured slots are a mix of what i mentioned above, and the other three featured slots always seem to contain female follower mods. is this your observation as well, or am i just looking at the most inconvenient times?

im not saying it's a bad or they should stop. nor am i or the OP saying they are not popular, i at least dont see why people dont make a really in depth follower or some other type of mod. i think the OP wanted a discussion about it, not people coming on here and hating on him for something he didnt directly say. Why don't you make one? people make what they want to make. And I know exactly what this thread is, it's another "stop making what I don't like" thread, I'm not "hating" on the OP, I'm just sick and tired of people who contribute nothing complaining about those who do. you are 100% wrong, this is not a "stop making this" thread, this is a "i want peoples OPINIONS on why there are so many on the front page and why they have suddenly become so popular" :confused:

well, if people find my post as trolling, that is their problem, not mine. why does it matter you ask? it does not, what i am asking in this thread is what other people think about all the generic follower mods making it to the front page, not weather or not it is a good or bad thing. Read the rules of the forums on trolling. i did, and i tried to make the OP to not sound like i am "attacking" a certain part of the modding community.

for the last month or two, i have not been able to look at the Nexus front page without seeing 2-3 "pretty follower" mods. i would not mind if they were unique, but they are not, they are generic followers with a pretty face. of course there is nothing we can do to change it, i know that, i just want the opinions of you guys, do you also think there is too many pretty, yet generic followers on the front page?

can anyone recommend a good roman armor mod for my emperial? i already have a mod that outfits the army as romans but i do not see myself using any of the armor in that mod and i cannot find anything good for myself any suggestions? i already have "the emperors will" mod and i only use the sword from the mod
