Hey! I have big problem. To start off with I´ve recentley updated my comp with some ram and a geforce 580. I´m not at all getting the performace I want out of the machine and I can´t figure out why. BUT my main problem with skyrim is when I´m in the open world. The light/image? kinda flickers and only when I, the PC moves. This occurs only when I´m outside and worst during daytime. anyone else noticed this problem and have a sollution? Any suggestions at all what to do?

Hello! PC noob here just having a question. I´m having lag issue and also a somewhat "flickering light" issue when in hte open world. I have a good graphic card (580 geforce) and about 12 gb ram but only 2,8 ghz CPU. I get some annoying lag, mostly in open world. The same kind almost wether I play medium, high or ultra. I not play on high with skyboost, latest geforce drivers, and so on and the game is very much playable but my question is, how can I improve the lag without having to upgrade the cpu?? Is there one setting that is very cpu heavy that I can just lower?= Is it possible to somehow make the game use more RAM (I´ve read somethign about it while searching the internet) or do you guys have any other ideas?? Hey! Wanna start by saying: Sorry for bad english, not my first language. To the topic. I´m planning my first run thru Skyrim next week. Started one a few days ago but decided to upgrade my computer so that I can max out everything. I play on a pc but use a xbox controller and play on a big screen tv. So I know there is a lot of fun mods comming but I wanna know what mods I should use together now to get the best experience: This is the experience I´m looking for: I want the best possible graphics to date. I want it to be challening. Really like the realism idea. Also like the idea of a realistic visual experience with being able to see your feet in FPS mode. I want to RP, really be able to "act" out my character. I like it to be a mature, dark world where a big axe to someones head really gets as bloody as it would in rl. I like the idea of sex and and attractive characters (I know there is no sex mods to date but anything that makes the world feel like a more depraved place is good) I don´t need any "cheats" like faster travel or anything like that. How ever armors, weapons, mounts that feels like a part of the game and are not overpowered are very welcome. Of course I like the ideas of more houses, farms more crafting and just MORE of the experience but I know that will have to be my second run when the CK has been out for a while. also I want world peace. So do anyone have any ideas what mods I should use that work well together? ALSO What mods do you use right now? I haven´t seen any threads like that since I´m new and I bet that´s always changing. Woud be very interessting to hear.
