  2. i found 1 called "disable combat boundary" but the comments make it sound like it will break some quests... is there a better version?
  3. In case other people are having an issue and tried everything else listed in this thread, this is the first time ive actually fixed a problem, though it was one of my own making lol. So, i CTD everytime i get into battle, i thought lol. And keep in mind, this is off a fresh save, with the mods ive used for, well, a very long time. and its the save file i use to start the game in my playthrough every time, all my items are fully enchanted (better than end game end game stats but nothing game breaking like 0% magicka costs etc) and my character has a really unique story for having them, and before people say i kinda cheated early on for that; hear me out, i hate the "i got an item > i go disenchant / enchant new item > i found a new enchantment i like > repeat > i buy a bunch of soul gems > enchant items > sell items to make money > buy more stuff to enchant > now my enchanting is high so i want a new set of items to raise my combat potential > dumb" so i just start out with all my stuff, and scaled the game to be much harder in the beginning, and still challenging but not impossible at the end. i have a save file with all the enchantments done so i never have to worry about items again in the game, and so i can go and explore the world instead. and believe me, its far more fun to struggle through the game, so believe me when i say combat in my game is challenging. To keep the game style evolving, my combat goes: Sniper Assassin (enemy at very long range/) > Conjuration(enemy at long range) > spell sword(enemy at medium range) > Conjuration(if summon died) > Sword and board(Melee range). My goodness i rambled on, sorry XD ... i was just so happy, cuz i literally just fixed this problem lol, was about to just give up on this game this year (during this Covid-19 shutdown no less!) So me, like most people, probably started off as "sniper assassin"... I would take my trusty old bow, line up a shot, and boom, ctd when the hit lands i thought it was a CTD as soon as combat starts, but i ended up going to fight this damn bandit from different angles trying to figure out whats going on after CTD like 4 times with the bow, i decided to go in and melee him, no problem i go on to fight the rest of the bandits, and i did see me get HIT with an arrow and CTD but i didnt think anything of it at the time, i thought it was a coincidence so i replicated this a couple times and being really careful to not get hit at all, and no ctd, so i loaded the game and redid the fight over and over sometimes it ctd, sometimes it didnt, it wasnt till this last time i was hit with an arrow i realized it was an arrow thing... I literally saw the arrow come in and as it landed on me, ctd ................. so i disabled the only mod that i had that that was to do with arrows... and still ctd... Then! i remember the only thing that i did with this save file that was new idea but with a mod ive used for like forever... skytweak... if u use skytweak, do not set arrows sticking out of bodies to "0" ... boom. that was it for me. good luck out there!
  4. edit : ok i figured it out... lol so... dont use skytweak and set max arrows shown when u hit /are hit with arrows, dont get it to zero... lol
  5. does does one swim in water if u have waterwalking ability? Sacrosanct gives the ability "moonlit waters" which is waterbreathing and waterwalking, and i never really paid attention to going underwater lol in case some people dont know, with waterwalking, i literally just walk on water like im walking on land, so i cant figure out how to actually go into the water XD
  6. a few daedric princes have decided to form an alliance and has entered tamriel? any mods like that? i cant find it, if there is one. if some1 does make this, please make it beatable, but stupid hard? to put things into perspective, i got (noncheat xD): 1000 health, 1000 mana, 1000 stamina 70% physical reduction (95% if i put on heavy armor - this is a choice, i modd'ed my game where if i fight heavy armor enemies, like ebony knight, they will take far less damage, ebony knight has 89% damage reduction in my setup, i used skytweak to set armor cap 950 armor rating, = 95%, while my tribal might glass armor retexture puts my armor rating at something like 709) 80% fire frost shock 80% magic .05 health/magicka/stamina regen ... yea... i hate it when ur fighting a dragon or whatever, and u just got blasted, and if ur health regen is really high, u can just keep walking towards the big lizard, and by the time you get to him, ur at full health again... no thanks... at my settings i use magicka to heal, and if i cant do that, the low regen rate i got literally means i gotta go back to sleep, realism... the hardest fights are the ones that steal my magicka lol. thank god for equilibrium XD (oh yea... i use deadly dragons mod to set dragons health to +900%, so they have an even 1000% health lol, and + 300physical and magic damage, dragons are dragons again) NO POTS. absorb 15 magicka sword / 25 bow ... yea... not goin to leech my way to victory either... 1:1 damage ratios for me and npc weapon damage is based on skill for me and npc (1-5x) player stagger > i play with wildcat full body stagger turned on, so if i ever get surrounded, npc's get to just stomp me for a good few seconds, if im lucky to get out of that stun lock that is lol mp cost x 2 for me and npc no followers, as i literally cant find a mod that keeps followers down until you pick them up, i want them to stay down till the fight is over, i hate how they just get back up... i was using npc knockout, but it glitches a bit too much for me. i play in a rotating style depending on how combat starts: Stealth Archer opening (3 arrows max), spell sword chain lightning (or 1 handed lightning storm, vs dragons only), double Summoning (Draugr deathlords / Dragon priest), and as soon as summons are done, i go into spellsword or archer again, makes gameplay alternating and fun, especially vs armies thanks to anyone who is considering making this mod!

There are "zero" mods that can be found that adds FAIR and balanced skeletons to the game. zero. when i say fair and balanced i mean -novice,apprentice, adept, expert, master levels -FAIR magicka costs, especially novice levels, go on and download all the skeleton mods u can find, i just downloaded all of them, every single one that has a novice level spell, costs my left foot XD . its a novice level spell guys, people kinda cant afford 200 magicka for a summon lol -i mean, i found a mod thats got expert level summon with custom spells, and they are stronger, by far, than their custom master level spells XD so can someone please make a mod that has: -fair magicka costs XD -fair scaling, maybe have novice = level 5 peice of warrior apprentice = level 15 archer adept = level 30 destruction mage expert = 50 conjuration/archer that conjures the novice skeleton warrior master = 75 conjuration/destruction spell sword that conjures the adept level destruction mage because lets face it, people that go down the conjuration tree only do it because no1 really does it... why do conjuration when u got talking npc's like followers?
  8. true, but its also true that in order to make a bat file for my character, it will take something like 4 hours of searching for everything. there are so many mods out there for convenience, why should this be different? just to put things into scope... 1- it takes me at LEAST 1 hour configure all of my mods via mcm, 192 mods. it will take WAAAAAAY longer if i took a long break like this last time and i had to reread what each mod does... hell, i got mods that costs me stamina to swing my sword, i got mods that links my health/magicka/stamina to my skills directly (no level up to pick), and since i hate making skills legendary, i got mods that add experience straight to my characters level when i discover/quest/KILL enemies. i actually have a file that i refer to that i have all my personal settings written down so i remember what to set it to if they dont use FISS, and it tells me exactly what each mod does for me so i remember how i wanted to play the game 2- it will take me at LEAST 3 hours take all the screenshots of all the abilities i have, just so i dont have to alt tab back and forth to create the bat file, how long u think its going to take to find each item code, from all the different mods i have- which means the codes arent hardcoded, since they will be xx0000000 etc. hell, i just found out that one of the mods that add in a variety of monsters added in multiple variations of tomes for all the original summoning spells, in 6 different variations of mistman tomes. and i need a specific one because i have a summoning mod that scales all summons with the PC level, making mage fights much harder because their summons scale to the PC. so yea, id love a mod that at least helps cut down on this to size xD ground hogs day! <---- perfect idea that just came to me. give the pc x amount of days to figure out how to get out of this loop! and boom. the real mod! one small hatch that is impossible to find, leading to the underdark and to the most impossible fights against the damn daedric gods themselves for all i care or discover TALOS in a labryth and bring him back to whiterun's very own Heimskr. So Talos the GOD AMONG MEN, can set u free XD
  9. anyone here with the knowledge to do this and willing to explain to me approximately how big of an undertaking this is? 1-can a noob learn to do this without any programming knowledge 2-how long would it take someone who knows what they are doing to do this 3-how long would it take a guy of normal intelligence to learn this, then do it thanks for ur time, yea, im that interested. because frankly i dont like console games, and no computer games are up to snuff for me... i filled the gap with wow classic till i got tired of raid times... so yea, im most likely game XD
  10. would love to see a New game plus mod... got a level 200 character you dont want to start over on? but you want to play the story again? and this time wipe the floor with them? i mean, its only fair, we have all these alternate starts, whose to say u didnt arrive in skyrim fully decked out, full on badass already? XD hell, i got the perfect reason to do this: you are a new skyrim player and u went through the entire game with legendary difficulty, no mods, now u downloaded all this stuff and u found out there are super insane difficulties that can be reached? whaaat? i mean just with skytweak melee enemies can hit 20x (10x weapon damage based off of skill, and a little lower than that, another setting specifically to increase weapon damage directly) max level is 65000, what can u handle? XD
  11. im barely able to get mods working let alone work on creating an overhaul, i would LOVE to though, since this corona virus, ive spent about "30 hours" combing through nexus, watching videos on just getting together all the mods i want; currently at 78 and its working beautifully. i tried downloading ck and opening it up, but multiple times i try to load a file so i can get a general sense of what is expected, it keeps coming up with an error, ive forgotten what it says now, but point is, i got to the door, but i couldnt walk through it XD
  12. most of what you say is true, some just cant be that hard, i mean you can just have a set distance to start combat, but, its an idea, and dnd is a very big game with alot of followers, really surprised there arent any dnd lovers trying to do it. i mean it doesnt have to be the gambit system, but an AI pack really is no different from a gambit system, only difference is u can change the order of the gambits. i mean just look at amazing follower tweaks, u can set certain spells to go off under certain conditions, that is literally the gambit system.

Skydnd. a complete overhaul of skyrims : 1-monsters to static levels thus specific difficulty 2-leveling system complete redesign to mimic everyones most favorite dnd rules : 3.5 ... pathfinder kingmaker is pretty good too. 3-3 followers that you can level up the way u level up yourself 4-ever played final fantasy 12? bring in the gambit system to control your followers, or even yourself : thus turn-based combat is introduced. hell, have the gambit system control the enemy npcs too! 5-numbers need to be dynamic, short sword does 1-6 damage, long sword does 1-8 damage ... spell damage needs to be lowered skydnd is the next level of overhaul... some1 please!

Ancestral Summon : A conjuring that brings forth a bound spirit to you. This spirit is a permenant follower until dismissed. You can equip them, upgrade them like AFT, except maybe go a bit more in depth by allowing to pick perks? my biggest gripe with AFT is say u increase light armor on a follower, so what? light armor does nothing for armor rating unless they have the perks... maybe this mod can let you name ur perfect santa's little helper? thus you can have "perfectly built" combat followers? trying to go for a play through where you are not a combatant, but you have guards to protect you. Custom Followers : a cloaked npc stands in the corner of a tavern... speak to them to go into character creation to create custom follower, talk to the newly created follower to enter their perk tree, item management etc. Winterhold Housecarl : there isnt one... why? lol. there is only 1 mod that i can find, but its very buggy... Male or Female Housecarl : sometimes i wanna roll with 5 males, sometimes 5 females, and sometimes i want them all housecarls :D if someone could make a mod that allows u to pick male or female, maybe options to make dual wield, sword/shield, spell caster, whatever, with all the perks? Rejuvenation : A restoration spell that heals 1 HP per second for 60 seconds. Resurrection : A restoration spell that costs zero mana but a dragon soul to bring a dead npc back to life. there are resurrection spell mods, but i just dont feel mana is a good cost to bring someone back to life... please have a slider bar to choose how many souls? i play with death souls mod with 3 dragon souls per death, and i use AFT to allow my followers to die :D Masters of Sorcery : Master spells redone that costs dragon souls. again, some things i dont think mana is a good cost... Elemental spells should practically instgib... Conjuration should be armies, or super strong and infinite duration... etc Bat Travel : There is a mod called Bat Travel Vampire Power, great mod, but as vampire lord u can use bat power instantly to travel that short distance, kinda sucks that the mod makes you wait that 4ish seconds before you can take off into the air... another mod called dark envoy (one that i currently use) has bat power and its transformation speed is great, but can someone please make a mod that just takes the dark envoy style of speedy transformation and add a mana cost to it on a slider(cost per second)? and of course, allow it to be done in normal form, but adding the requirement to be a vampire or lord... oh... and PLEASE, COLLISION :smile: Thank you so much for taking the time to read! Maybe if your a modder you've been inspired by the... Masochism of my play style? :D:D I hope some of you modders will hear this : i think the "dragon souls resource" is highly untapped, for an evermore epic gameplay, maybe if its possible to make mods that center epicness.
