  2. okay so the SF_Skinned did the trick now I need to just tweak placement and such but how did i miss that bit about SF_Skinned. Also my textures point to the correct place (from what I believe) and they do show up in Nifskope but they don't show up in Skyrim. Any help there?

  4. Again I'm at a turning point in my learning with modding. I get the model done in blender, and do the exporting following the tutorial that is designed for armors but I feel I had a good grasp on it, I did a weight transfer between the ebony helm and my helm and all that jazz and then I get it into Nifskope and it almost looks identical to other helmets I compare it to. Then I load it into skyrim and it floats above my characters head and does nothing impressive. I'm sure I will have an army of texture questions once I get the head screwed on. Here is the link please assist I am lost. Link to Nif If the blender model is required I can throw that up too. But maybe the problem lies in nifskope for starters.
  5. I also downloaded the blender package from Nexus that had all 4 applications. I'm just at a lost as to how to tell my helmet that its is going to be a helmet and locked to the head bone in Blender or Nifskope so that it does exactly that in game.
  6. we'll I went into Nifskope's settings and added a folder pointing to my texture folder thats how I was able to get it to show a file path of textures/texture.dds
  7. I'm using Blender and my model after going through nifskope is behaving incorrectly in game. First, the Textures are not showing up on the model. They show in Nifskope but not in game. I've turned "color vertex's" on and faced normals and its still Black. Secondly I cannot seem to figure out how to get my helmet to link to the "skull bone" when I export I don't have any dismember information in my nodes. I have a feeling I missed a step when creating the helmet. Currently it just floats at a fixed point about neck level. Any assistance would be great. As I have come to a brick wall on this. I'm sure these are easy fixes that I missed in the tutorials.

  9. When fast traveling with my followers to your stronghold they often times get stuck and vanish in the actual exterior of the longhouse. Maybe open up the area a little bit. Orcs love mines perhaps have a road lead down to the base of the mountain and insert a tiny little mine at the base with a small guard tower/checkpoint out front maybe have it be a broken run down tower. inside the house I would think the orcs would fancy more plaquerds over display cases. Otherwise consider this my new favorite house. For my orc that is. :)
