I found a new way to get the follower-faction sorted (according to: http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615805-/61242343). It did work for me with several NPCs. Might do the trick with Karliah too...: 1. Find the NPC you want to make a follower/marry. Open console with the tilde key. Click on the NPC. The NPC's ID will pop up when you click them, take note of the ID, you'll be using it later when you are setting relationship via console command. If you want to marry the NPC type in: addfac 19809 1 If you want to make the NPC a follower type in: addfac 5C84D 1 2. Inorder for the follow/marriage choice to appear, the NPC has to like you. To do this, you need to set the NPC's relationship level. To set the relationship between you and the follower correctly, you need to type in BOTH OF the following lines into the console. Setrelationshiprank "NPC ID HERE" 4 Player.setrelationshiprank "NPC ID HERE" 4 3. For certain NPCs, the marriage/follow options will not appear until you reset the NPCs dialogue options, to do so, type the following lines into the console. Disable Enable 4. If you just want to marry an NPC, you're done after the last step, the 4th step only pertains to people who are making NPCs followers. Inorder for some followers to fight enemies and instead of running around like idiots, you need to set their confidence level. To do this, open the console, click the NPC, and type the following lines into the console. setav aggression 1 setav confidence 3 5. The last step you have to do is set your follower to essential, inorder to do this you need to use the NPCs ID Number. To figure out the ID number you need to type the following into the console. Help "NPCs Name" 4 This will give you the ID, along with a lot of other random data about the NPC, take the code you find and type in the line below. setessential "The ID you found" 1 6. You might find your new follower weak, and that's because your new follower does not level with you. Chances are they are a very low level and will die very quickly to anything that attacks them. The easiest way to remedy this is to open the console, click your follower and type. setlevel "Insert level here" After you complete step six, you're done. You now have your own essential NPC follower to do your bidding. Take note, if you do not set the NPC as essential, when they die, you may lose the NPC for good. Using resurrect on the NPC via the console will bring the NPC back to life, but the NPC will no longer follow you and may disappear from the game completely. So far, I haven't found a way around this, so setting the NPC to essential is a must.

If somebody would decide that I would download that mod as well :D

You might have to wait a long time to get this unless somebody decides to make every single NPC marriable/comapniable which at least would be worth the time. Plus it still should be possible via console. As the standard addfac-way doesn't work, you might have to try to remove her "unmarriable"-Faction which is supposed to have the ID 47A01 as far as I found out. So what you type is "adfac 47A01 -1" whilst having her selcted (-1 removes NPCs from factions). After that, add her to the marriage-faction. Maybe you'll have to go with a higher Parameter at the end: "adfac 00019809 2" for example. I'm not sure about the follow-faction tho, but a higher parameter might help there too. Hope this helps a bit. cheers

Go on console, type following whilst having Karliahs caption chosen (click her till her ID shows up in your console): For follower-option: addtofaction 0005C84D 0 For marriage-option: addtofaction 00019809 0 instead of addtofaction -> addfac. You should not forget the zero (0) at the end of the line. Might do the trick really. I didn't try it with Karliah specifically for I only like her voice, but not her looks. Plus she talks too much :D ... But however I tried it with several other NPCs that neither have the marriage nor the follower-option and it did work. So it should do with Karliah just as well. cheers

Ah well, reminds me of discussions over the lotro-lore-master we used to have. I wouldn't use such a mod for it's not exactly logical to carry your staff on your back. I can't think of a clever staff-holder and I would think in real life a staff that large at your back would be rather annoying whilst running or walking. If it has to be seen it would rather be in the player's hands as a walking staff - like Gandalf for example. So after all I would rather request a mod that takes two-handed weapons off one's back as well. :)

Some taverns are just way too big to really give them that sorta bar-feeling. So a bit more people and a bit less room might do the trick. But then again I do like certain taverns like the one in Riften f.e. or the one with the dark-elves (forgotten where they were). They're just quite a bit smaller which makes them less - empty... Ah by the way: In my opinion it wouldn't make sense to fill them all day long. So if the large ones just got a bit more crowd in the evening I would appreciate that mod.

What you're looking for does exist. But nexusforums won't let us post that site - apparently for some sort of competition-issues. Just google: "Nude males, mod, skyrim" and your first hit should be the right one. It's on the site called curse(dot)com.

I'd have some nice blades in mind that I've seen in lotro: http://lotro-wiki.com/images/6/6f/Udunion%27s_Swords.jpg http://savetherobot.files.wordpress.com/2007/04/lotro-lute.jpg Oh and I absolutely want one of those beautiful archaic (flintstone-)clubs: http://www.karneval-megastore.de/product_images/images/big/117813_halloween-karneval-keule_big.jpg

More children would be welcome from my side. I agree with Enthusiast tho that this kind of mod would better stay inside the lore. So give children to races that in fact live inside those cities. So khajit will be out in fact. But there's more: Some dark elven kids in Windhelm, some Argonians in Riften etc. would still be possible. Plus there's orcs, high elven etc. I can't remember whether there exist couples at any of the cities tho. cheers

Good thing about mods is that they're completely optional. So if you want a lore-friendly Skyrim just don't install this ... erm ... thing. I do like the thread openers weirdish idea, but I don't think I would use this kinda sword myself. But why not try out a mod like this. I'd have different priorities in my mod-requests tho.

Sounds interesting indeed, but like a lot of work. If you want to start with your own "mini castle" you might get happy with this: http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4514 But that's just a better way of housing instance really.

Yeah, I agree. I do like the guild-idea and its approach pretty much, but after you're on top it's no more fun really. So that might add some more spice to it.

You can become a dragon f.e. - just check here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console Type: "player.setrace dragonrace" (without the "s) and you'll be a dragon

I'm wondering if one of these two console-commands do almost or even exactly the same thing that you're doing the "complicated" way with the editor: source: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console Plus I'm wondering if you couldn't get married to multiple people by using this console command: setrelationshiprank <target> <#> (# would have to be 4) ... Didn't try it out yet.

The term "harem" isn't that wrong, since you request a mod that allows you to have several wifes at the same place (Live Manequins). Or do I get you wrongly? Just having several wives - one for each of your houses - sound like a pretty idea, but it's the harem-thing that would make things spicy, yet a bit more complicated. I suppose the amount of wives per house (as well as the amount of housecarls per house) is bound to the amount of beds inside the house. So first you would have to allow more beds per house and find a place where to put them. Or else you have to undo the link between wife and bed and you might lose the lover's comfort. So more lovers, less sex, ey. To me the idea of having multiple wives only sounds interesting if you can "collect" them at one place. A different approach could be to create a mod allowing your housecarls to move in all at the same place. This might bring you a nice stack of women at your place as well, although they wouldn't be wives. I didn't try it yet, but it seems you should be able to change the housecarl's sex, if you want more women in your houses (console-command: SexChange). cheers.d
